Laurie and Val : tour surprise

Chapter 1

Val's Pov: Laurie and I have been dating for about 9 months and it is going great.

At the moment Laurie is on tour with Kellogg's so we don't get to see each other much but when we do we make every moment count .

I love Laurie and the reason I know that is because I miss her when I don't see her for a day or If I don't hear her voice and I know that I don't want to spend my life with anyone but Laurie

I am going to surprise my girl , but now I need a plan

Mak's Pov: Laurie is on tour with Kellogg's so she and Val don't get to talk a lot or spend time with each other , but when they do they make every second count

" Val , I'm home" I call as I walk through the door

" I'm in the living room" He calls back

I walk into the living room to find Val on his phone

" What are you doing?" I ask Val curiously

" I am looking at the Kellogg's tour schedule to find out when they will be her in new York" he tells me

" So you are going to surprise her" I state

" Yes , I am and you are coming with me" He tells me

" When will the tour be in new York?" I question

" They will be here on the 15th of November at the prudential center" He tells me

And I got really excited because I didn't have anything to do on the 15th

" So what is in store with the surprise?" I ask Val curiosity in my voice

" I am going to propose to Laurie at the end of the show, I have everything set up with the tour manager" He tells me smiling from ear to ear

NOVEMBER 15TH

Val's Pov:

" Mak's if you don't hurry up I am going to leave without you" I holler upstairs to my brother

Today is the Kellogg's tour and if Mak's doesn't hurry up we are going to be late

" I am on my way" He says as he comes down the stairs

Soon Mak's and I were in the car driving to the prudential center for the show

After about 45 minutes of driving Mak's and I made it to the show and to our seats just in time

We were watching the show and it is incredible and soon it was almost time for me to propose , but first Laurie had to watch the video that I made for her

I am nervous about proposing to Laurie but I don't want to spend one more minute without her by my side

Laurie's Pov: The Kellogg's tour was stopped in new York at the prudential center for a show and the show is almost over but Simone pulls me to the Mat , Now I am confused

" As you all Know Laurie is dating dwts Pro Val Chmerkovskiy and I know that today is your anniversary but you couldn't be together but we have a surprise for you" Simone tells me pointing to the screen

Val's face shows up and I am speechless and I start to tear up as the video starts to play

" Laurie, happy anniversary. I love you so much , and I fall in love with you more everyday , and I wouldn't want it any other way. I love you babe" Val says in the video and then it ends

" Laurie , We saw in the video how much Val loves you, How much do you love him?" Simone asks me

" How much time do we have left" I reply and the entire audience starts to laugh

" Well , how about you tell Val how much you love him for yourself" Simone says and I see Val walking towards me

Val makes it to the Mat and we hug each other and after a few seconds He pulls back and grabs my hands

He then starts to talk but what I didn't know was that my life was about to change

Mak's Pov: I watched from the bleachers as Laurie watches the pre taped video that Val made and then Simone gave Val the cue and he was out of his seat walking towards Laurie

When Val and Laurie reached each other they hugged but after they hugged they pulled back and Val grabbed her hands and Simone handed him the microphone

" Laurie, I am just going to say it. I love you and I want spend the rest of our lives side by side, hopefully if you will have me. " Val says into the microphone

" Laurie Hernandez, will you make me the happiest person alive and marry me?" Val asks Laurie as he gets down on one and pulling out the ring

Every eye in the building went to Laurie and as she said yes while wiping away tears of happiness

Val slipped the ring into place on Laurie's finger and they hugged , but the audience wanted something else

" Kiss her , kiss her , kiss her !!!" The crowd chanted

And so they gave the audience what they wanted

Val's Pov: Laurie said yes and I couldn't be happier. I slipped the ring into place on her finger and we hugged but the audience wanted something else

" Kiss her , Kiss her , Kiss her " The crowd chanted

So we gave the crowd what they wanted

I crashed my lips into Laurie's and it was a passionate kiss and it lasted until we had to pull away to catch our breath

" SHE SAID YES" Simone screamed to the crowd

After about 15 minutes of Mak's and I catching up with Laurie she had to go do the autographs and meet the fans

Mak's and I headed home and when we got in car I checked my phone to find a voicemail from an unknown number

" Val Chmerkovskiy, this is the executive producer of the Talk show Good Morning America, we would love to have you and Laurie on for an interview, Call me at this number when you get this message" The voicemail then ended and I redialed the number

I set up an interview for Laurie and I on Gma tomorrow morning, and I told Laurie about it and she was excited about it

Gma Laurie and Val

" Val Chmerkovskiy and Laurie Hernandez have exciting news to share , they got engaged last night at the presidential center after Val surprised Laurie, lets take a look at the proposal" Michael Strahan said gesturing to the monitor

The video ended and the interview officially started

" Okay , first congratulations on the engagement" Robin said

" Val , how did you pull off the surprise engagement without Laurie knowing about it?" Michael asked me

" Actually the entire Kellogg's tour cast knew about it. I told them when I started planning the proposal and I also told Mak's about it" I tell him confessing how I did it

" Wow , how long were you planning the proposal?" Robin asks me

" About 3 weeks" I tell them honestly

" How did you get the right ring size?" Michael asked me

" I actually called Laurie's sister to find out Laurie's ring size" I tell them

" Laurie, you didn't have any clue about the surprise?" Robin asked Laurie

" No , I had no clue. I thought that he would propose at the house in front of our family and friends when the tour ended, because we only have 3 more shows" Laurie tells them

" Lets look at this gorgeous engagement ring" Robin insisted as the camera zoomed in on Laurie's ring

Soon the interview was over and Laurie and I were on our way home to spend time together for a couple of days before she had to leave for the next 3 days due to tour shows

I can't wait until Laurie and I are referred to as husband and wife. I have the woman that I love in my arms and my life couldn't be more complete
