Chapter 36
*Harry's POV*
A MONTH LATER...
It's been a month and my relationship with Liam has been going pretty well. I don't get that jealous of Andy or Danielle whenever Liam hangs out with them. I mean, I have the boys with me, right? That's what they're here for: to keep me company when Liam can't.
And I also happen to have, Grimmy. He keeps me from breaking down whenever Liam's too busy for me. He keeps me sane enough on our nights out at clubs. Like tonight.
"You know that girl keeps checking you out over there, right? She's been doing it for the past 5 minutes," Grimmy muttered to me, drink to his lips. "Might wanna let her know what team you play on."
"How could she not know?" I said with a snort, downing the rest of my drink. "Doesn't everyone in town know that I'm dating Liam? He's the prince; they should know this."
"Uh oh. You're talking about him again. Don't cry on me this time, Styles. It's quite embarrassing," he said, elbowing my side.
"Not my fault. Liam's been so busy with his 'Princely duties' this whole week, I barely get to see him," I complained, waving at the bartender for another drink.
Grimmy snorted and put an arm around my shoulders. "Haven't been laid by 'your highness' for a while, huh?"
"No. Shut up," I muttered, shrugging his arm off. "I just wish he would spend more time with me again."
"Stop whining. He's busy being a pretty face of royalty, ain't he?" he teased lightly. "Seriously, though. Focus on tonight and get your mind off him. Let's dance. Let loose, Styles. This is your opportunity. Don't hold back on me."
But I wasn't really listening to him. My attention was solely on a very familiar figure on the dance floor. His brown hair plastered on his forehead with sweat as he danced, holding a drink in his hand.
"Harry? Hey, Styles! Watcha lookin' at?" Grimmy asked, then followed my gaze. "Ah. Busted."
"Yeah. My freaking lying boyfriend of a Prince is out there, on the dance floor, with a drink in hand, at a club! He told me he had 'duties as a Prince tonight'. He said that's why he couldn't come tonight to meet you," I seethed, glaring at Liam's back. "How dare he lie to me?"
"Calm down, Harold. Maybe he needed...a break from his so-called 'duties'? And now he's out, having fun. The way YOU should be now," Grimmy said to me, but I waved him off.
"But now I can't just have fun, Grimmy. My boyfriend lied to me!" I almost yelled, making some people stare at me. I just glared at them, then looked back at Liam. "I'm gonna have a chat with him for an explanation."
"Woah there! Hold on. Maybe he didn't tell you for a reason. Stop being so mad and let him enjoy himself. He looks like he is," he said, holding onto my arm.
I turned to him and poked his chest. "You better not be checking him out, Nick. He's my boyfriend, remember?"
"Of course I remember! He's all you've been talking about lately,” he said defensively, pushing my hand off his chest. “Just leave him be to have fun. Come on. If it makes you feel any better, I’LL dance with you to keep your mind off him.”
“Shut it, Nick. I’m serious. HE lied to ME. Why would he do that?” I asked, glaring at Liam’s back as he continued to dance and talk to some guy. They better not be flirting. Oh, he better not be cheating on me with that. He’s not even hot, Liam! What is he doing?
“Harry. Stop trying to mentally punish Liam for having fun. You’re gonna hurt yourself more than him,” Grimmy said.
But I kept ignoring him. “What is he doing here anyway? And who is that guy he’s talking to? He’s not hot, so Liam better not be flirting with him.”
