Hey! So I saw that a YouTuber had made some overnight oats, which I strangely had never heard of before. So I decided I'd look them up since they looked so good. Here's the basis for making your very own overnight oats.
~Ingredients~
- 1 / 2 cup of oats
- 1 / 2 cup of milk of choice (almond, soy, regular)
- 1 tbsp. chia seedsOptional Ingredients
- berries / fruits for flavor (1 / 2 banana, sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.
- yogurt, maple syrup, sweetener, or protein powder~Instructions~
1. Add your oats
2. Add your optional yogurt, maple syrup, sweetener, or protein powder
3. Add your chia seeds
4. Add your fruits
5. Add the milk of choice
6. Cover your jar / container / bowl tightly with a lid
7. Shake thoroughly (I don't really know if you need to shake it, I guess it's preference)
8. Refrigerate overnight. Add any desired toppings in the morning (fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, chocolate chips (if you don't want it to be as healthy as it could be, haha), the normal things)I hope this is good, because I sure do plan on trying it! Enjoy!
Question of the Chapter:
