PROLOGUE

Hi! I'm Shinji Yoshida Yoshima.

I'm 1/4 Filipino. 3/4 Japanese.

My father is Shin Yoshima, if you still remember him. (Stereo Hearts)

My father is a member of a gang when he was a teenager. He's also from a yakuza clan, the Kamenashi Family. He sacrificed his self for us. He's the reason why I'm here telling you my story.

That's all I know about him. He died when right exact after I was born... I guess.

My mother is Eri Yoshida. She's not a gangster.

But she came from a yakuza family, too, Yamaguchi Family.

My mom loves me and my dad. She died rescuing me on a fire when I was 15.

The Yamaguchi and Kamenashi are rivals.

That's why my grandfather who raised me (mother side) opposed the relationship between my father and my mother.

They brainwashed me.

People accused me that I'm a killer, a troublemaker, an assassin, a criminal, a yakuza.

I'm asking myself... why I became a killer?

I've never killed a person with my own hands except on the last day of the war.

A troublemaker? How come? I've never talked to anyone unless he's one of our 'family'.

Like I said, I've never killed a person, a single person, how come I'm an assassin?

It's just that I came from a yakuza family does that mean I'm a criminal?

We all know that I became a yakuza boss but I really don't know what's the meaning of yakuza boss until I turn 20 (I guess) which I became the boss a year before.

I hate it when people make false accusations.

Am I really a bad person?

I know for myself I'm not.

I have my own reasons why I am like this.
