Chapter one
Treading over the forest terrain, only the quiet crickets and the crisp sounds of leaves underfoot could be heard. The full moon high in the sky hung overhead, and the wind whistled through the tree tops.
It had been a long and tiring journey for a young lioness; passing through the enemy territories from the Savanah desert, mountains, and forests.
