"yes." you giggled, as you let me wipe the dirt on your knees.

we then lay our back on the soft green grass, resting ourselves after chasing each other like kids.

i then found myself staring at you.

"so pretty." you sighed, staring at the cotton-like clouds,

full of hope and happiness.

"it's true." i smiled, still staring at you.

"you do know that you're being lame right now, right?" you laughed,

looking back to me,

which made my heart flutter even more.

i smiled again,

"you've changed a lot, too much for a year in fact."

you were kind of moved in the sudden change of topic.

"for good or bad?" you asked.

"for the best." i answered,

which made you smile heartily.

gazing at the clouds,

"thank you." you said.

"for what?"

"don't act clueless, jinjja." you chortled, "let say i thank you for everything."

"without you, i wouldn't be able to smile again."

"without you, i would feel restless."

"without you—"

you paused from speaking as my lips peck yours.

"i love you."
