I recently watched this anime film with my dad called 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' and there a character who looked like a BTEC level one Kisumi and I thought:

'Eh, why not write this for Kisumi?'

Also, I'm going on a mini rant here, nothing bad or anything, just I don't understand why people think Kisumi is trash. It's like Oikawa - except I know why people think he's trash, fucking Trash Queen - but Kisumi is cool to me. I don't know, perhaps I'm just oblivious.

Anybody who didn't know you and Kisumi personally would think the two of you were dating, because you were practically joined at the hip.

You'd been best friends since childbirth, and you'd grown up with eachother - being neighbours and all - but in high school, you started to see Kisumi in a different light, and it kind of worried you.

At first you didn't notice it, but especially during the transition from junior high to high school, you started to notice him bulk up a bit, which was no surprise since he was on the basketball team in junior high and did work very hard in his sports.

But when other girls started fawning over him, you could say you were a bit jealous, as you hadn't really changed much since junior high. You'd only grown your hair out a bit and gotten a little taller, but that was about it.

A lot of love letters and confessions came his way, and you were standing right next to him throughout all of it, trying to smile but in reality, you were crying inside, for the boy you loved was loved by so many other people.

But Kisumi never abandoned you, and he never went off with any other girls, because he actually had someone of whom he had his eyes on personally.

You.

"Hey, Y/N, wait up!" Kisumi called out to you, and you sighed before turning around to wait for him.

You weren't really in the mood to see the overly good looking boy, even though he was your best friend, because of how much attention he was getting recently.

Even more confessions had come his way over the past week, and while you were happy for him, your heart couldn't help but feel a little angry that he never paid any attention to you.

You knew it was a little selfish, but it was true.

You were jealous.

"Woo, you sure do walk fast!" Kisumi gasped, doubling over and trying to catch his breath.

"You should know that by now, being my best friend for seventeen years," you huffed, not meaning for the words to come out as harsh as they did.

Kisumi looked up at you with a confused look on his face before standing up straight and looking you straight in the eye.

"What's been going on with you lately?" He asked, and he actually looked a little bit angry. "You've been acting different around me, and I want to know what's going on."

"Nothing, I'm fine," you mumbled, starting to walk off and away from Kisumi, but he suddenly grabbed your wrist and tugged you back, spinning you around and grabbing you tightly by your upper arms.

"Why are you lying to me?" He yelled, clearly getting upset by you avoiding him and acting differently around him for what felt like forever. "What have I done to make you this mad at me?"

Kisumi missed you, he really did.

He missed having his best friend and crush around him. He missed making stupid jokes that only you would laugh at, and he missed you being literally the only girl who would act normal around him.

Kisumi wasn't interested in popularity, or getting all the ladies. He was interested in you, and now that you were acting strange, he thought he'd lost the only source of happiness he had.

"You really mean a lot to me, you know," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, and completely different to his tone of voice before. "I thought that when we reached high school, we could grow more mature and...and I was hoping you would reciprocate my feelings. But with how things have been going recently, I thought you hated me for some reason, and I-"

You suddenly cut Kisumi off with a laugh, a genuine laugh that you hadn't laughed in what felt like ages.

Placing a hand on the side of Kisumi's face, you looked into his beautiful purple eyes and smiled.

"I could never hate you, you dork," you laughed, and Kisumi smiled. "I guess I'm just not mature enough to admit my feelings to you either."

"But you're mature enough to take matters into your own hands, I see," he teased with a smirk on his face.

"Shut up," you joked, playfully punching him in the arm. "Let's just appreciate that we're both boyfriend and girlfriend now."

Kisumi smiled even more, leaning down to press a kiss to your cheek. "I think I can live with that."
