Problem verse: Deuteronomy 22:23-24

"If there is a betrothed virgin, and a man meets her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbor's wife. So you shall purge the evil from your midst."

Explain:
You may think that it's just another case of a guy raping a girl and the girl getting punished because she didn't scream loud enough, but it's not.
Basically there is a woman engaged to a man. But another man comes along and they get along well. They both fall in love and then shaloop! (Yes, I said that) They have that thingy together. And if they're found out, then they are killed because they committed adultery. So it's not about a girl that's raped and then killed because she couldn't scream loud enough, it's about an engaged woman cheating on her fiancé.
