Mrs. Hiddleston
Chapter 15Tom traced patterns on your bare arm as he watched you sleep. You seemed so content in his arms. Although the sun was up high already, he didn't want to wake you yet.
His long fingers travelled from your shoulder down the length of your arm, to your hand. Entwining your fingers, he brought them to his lips and placed a soft kiss on each fingertip. You stirred and your eyes fluttered open.
"Good morning, kitten," he purred. You smiled at him. "Are you hungry?"
"Mhm." You nodded. He pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, the started to get up.
"Wait here. I'll be right back," he said as he exited the bedroom. You yawned as you stretched your limbs in the middle of the bed. You slept well and didn't have a single nightmare.
A while later Tom returned with a tray of breakfast and placed it on the bed in front of you. He brought you cornflakes with yogurt, and tea.
"Enjoy."
"Thank you!" You smiled. "Are you not going to eat?" you asked him.
"No, I already did," he replied. He sat on the edge of the bed and watched you as you ate. When you finished, Tom went to kitchen to put the dishes in a dishwasher, while you got dressed. After that you went to kitchen too. He was standing with his back turned to you.
"Tom?" You asked to get his attention. He turned around to face you.
"Yes?"
"What happened, when you came back in the afternoon?"
The previous night, when Tom was telling you the story about how you met, he kept stroking your face and hair and arms all the while, and by the time he finished, you were already half asleep.
He smiled widely at your curiosity, "That's a story for another time." You fake pouted at his response.
"That's not fair! Please tell me now!"
"Although I am happy to see you so excited about, how the story went on, I will tell you another time, because right now you have your doctor's appointment coming in hour. So we better get going."
"Oh my god, I totally forgot," you said as you glanced at the clock.
"I know." Tom replied with a grin and planted a small kiss to your forehead.

"Hello Mrs. Hiddleston, Mr. Hiddleston. Good to see you again," doctor Johnson greeted, when you entered her office.
"Hello!"
"Please take a seat." She said, turning to you. When you sat in the chair in front of her desk, she started asking you questions about how you are and how you are feeling. She also asked whether you regained any memories, to which you replied with 'no'. But overall your condition was good; you no longer had any headaches, and your nightmares were reducing, too.
After that doctor Johnson checked your blood pressure and she was pleased with the numbers. However, she was concerned that you still had a memory loss. So she decided to refer you to a psychologist."Doctor Lara Marshall is one of the best in the field," Dr. Johnson said, handing you her business card. "Why don't you go to a session and see how it goes? If you like it, you can go back. But you don't have to." She made sure to let you know, that you're not obliged to go there.
"I'm not sure about it." You looked up from the card and back to Dr. Johnson.
"Just give it a try," she encouraged. You nodded and then stood.
"Thank you for your time, doctor. When do I have to come back?"
"Oh, you don't. Physically you're completely recovered and there's nothing I can do anymore." She stood too. "I wish you speedy recovery." You said your goodbyes and then left.
During the car drive you were silent. You didn't have much faith in psychologists, or anything anymore. If the doctors could do nothing, what's going to happen then? Will you never regain your memories? Tom sensed your worries and reached his hand out to hold yours.
"Don't worry, darling. I'm sure everything will be all right," he assured, his voice calm and soothing. You turned to look at him, your face emotionless.
"How?" you asked. Your voice held sadness. Unsure if you even wanted to know, what the answer was, you turned your head away again.
"Hey!" Tom caressed your hand with his thumb. "Whatever happens, I will always be by your side. Together we can get through this. You're not alone!" His velvety voice and reassuring words calmed you and made you feel safe. Whatever would happen, he would stay by your side. You wouldn't be alone. You smiled slightly, a small hope awakening inside you. Not the kind of hope that maybe one day you get your memories back, but the kind that even if you don't, Tom would still love you nonetheless.
When you got back home, you walked slowly into the apartment. You went to the living room and stopped. As if in a daze, you looked around the room, until Tom came and wrapped his arms around you.
"Is everything all right?" he asked, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke.
"Yeah. I... just.."
"Hey," he turned you around in his arms and lifted your chin with his finger so that you would look at him. "Don't worry, everything will be fine."
"But what if I will never remember?"
"Don't think about it right now, darling," he said softly as he pulled you into his chest and hugged you tightly. "Even, if you don't get your memories back... we can always great new ones." You sighed sadly and hid your face into his clothes.
"I'm sorry," you muttered. Tom pulled away immediately and looked you deep in the eyes.
"Y/N, you have nothing to be sorry for. Don't ever apologise for this." His voice was stern, but yet sad at the same time. He didn't want you to feel guilty.
"If anything, I should be the one to apologise." He turned his head away from you, avoiding your gaze."What do you mean?" you asked.
"Never mind." Tom let go of you and left the living room, leaving you to wonder what did he mean.
