Silver flew around outside, and searched for Blaze. While he was looking her, his mind was racing with questions. "Will she accept the date? What if I mess it up? Would she forgive me after what I did the other day? Would she get the wrong idea? What do I do if I do mess it up again?"
Silver was stressed out. But then, he thought of his dream. He remembered Blaze's smile, and her voice replaying through his head. "I can do this," Silver said. "I am Silver the Hedgehog. I saved the future, and I can surely tell Blaze about how I feel." He thought of her voice again, and he got so happy over it he didn't know where he was going. He then bumped into something, and he fell back. He looked up, and his eyes widened. it was Blaze!
"Oh shoot! I'm so sorry Blaze!" Silver said, lifting her up. "It's...okay, Silver," Blaze said, rubbing her forehead. "What were you even doing?" Blaze asked. "I went to find you," he said. "What? Really?" Blaze asked. "Well yeah. Because...I wanted to say sorry...for leaving you the other day," Silver said, apologetically. "Oh, that's okay," Blaze said. "It was getting late for me anyway." "And now that I found you again, I just wanted to know if...," Silver began. He slowly blushed and began to sweat. "If what?" Blaze asked. "If you wanted to...go out to dinner with me?" Silver asked, nervously. Blaze paused for a bit, then she said, "Oh...well okay."
Silver then stared at her. "Really?" He asked. "Yeah. I mean I don't really have anything else today," She explained. "Also, I've been wanting to spend time with you for a long time." Silver couldn't believe it. Blaze actually wants to spend time with him! "Oh! Sure!" Silver said with excitement. "Can I...see you tonight?" Silver asked. "Sure, but...where?" Blaze asked.
Silver then didn't think about where to go. Apparently the only place he thought of was that chili dog place Sonic brought him. "I know one place," Silver said. "It's that chili dog place Sonic took me." "Oh," Blaze said. "But of course, if you don't want to go there, there's other places," Silver said. "No it's okay," she said. "If that's what you thought of, then I'll go there. But, I don't really have anything to wear."
Silver didn't think about that. But since it was his first time, and that Blaze already looked okay, he said, "It's okay if you want to go like that. Besides, I love that outfit." Blaze blushed a little, but said, "Silver. This is my only outfit." Silver blushed in embarrassment. "Oh, sorry," he said. Blaze giggled. "It's okay, Silver," she said. "Okay...so...tonight?" Silver asked. "Okay," Blaze said. "Alright. I'll see you later." He then walked away, but then Blaze said, "Silver?" He turned around. "This dinner thing? Is this like...like a date?" Silver paused, but then said, "Yeah...of course." He then walked off, and so did Blaze.
A few hours later, Silver walked out of Amy's house in a bow tie. Amy walked out with him. "You sure this is going to work?" Silver asked. "Relax Silver. You're amazing," Amy smiled. "You're gonna do great. I know it." "I hope so," Silver said. "Okay. I'll see you later." "Bye Silver," Amy said, walking back inside. Silver flew everywhere until he found Blaze close to the chili dog place.
"Hi Blaze," Silver said. "Hi...Silver," she looked at his bow tie. "Nice tie," she said. "Oh, thanks. I tried to be...proper for you," Silver said. "You didn't really have to wear the tie, but you still look great," Blaze smiled. "Thank you. You too," Silver blushed.
They walked together to the chili dog place. Silver wasn't holding her hand because he was nervous. There wasn't any doors anywhere to open, so Silver failed that too. But then he thought of something. "What if I say something? Like complement her?" He thought. "Maybe the more complements I give her, the more easier it'll be." After Silver and Blaze got their chili dogs, they sat down. Silver also completely forgot to pull Blaze's chair in! (Either that, or I forgot to write it down.)
"Great. I forgot to pull her chair out for her. What else am I gonna mess up?" Silver asked. He started getting a bit angry at himself. Blaze looked at him and asked, "Are you okay, Silver? You look a little tense." "I'm okay," Silver said. "Just a...little stressed." "I understand," Blaze said. "You do?" He asked. "Yeah. I always feel stressed about what's happening." "This is thing I stress about the most," Silver thought.
He focused so hard about Blaze, he forgot about his chili dog. And he suddenly got chili on his muzzle and chest fur! "Shoot!" Silver yelped, quietly. He quickly used his telekinesis to get napkins, and got them as quickly as possible. He grabbed on and rubbed his muzzle and chest fur quickly. "Great! Now I got chili on my fur! Now I'm gonna have to condition it again!" Silver thought. Blaze ate her chili dog just fine while Silver was trying to wipe all the chili off.
After Blaze finished she wiped her mouth with a napkin. Silver got chili stains on his gloves, face, and fur. He then felt something deep below him. It didn't feel good. "Silver. I just want to say...thank you for dinner. It was amazing," Blaze said, smiling slowly. "Oh...uh...no problem Blaze," Silver said, putting his hand on his stomach. "You can be naive, but I never realized that you can be so-" And then suddenly, Silver couldn't hold it in much longer! Blaze then got caught off by Silver. Because Silver...passed gas...and flew straight off very fast!
