I thought about what he just told me.

Finally, I realized who he was.

"Wait...You're Skydoesminecraft!"

He flashed a smile.

"The one and only!"

We chatted a bit more until Adam spoke up.

"Okay, now I actually have to go."

"Oh! I'm sorry for keeping you. I know you're a busy guy."

He shrugged.hello

"Well, I'm just doing random stuff at the office today so, it's fine."

He picked up his phone.

"Before we leave though, here, give me your number."

We traded numbers and info.

"Well, see you later!"

And we left.

I got back to my house.

My phone buzzed.

Adam- Yo

(Y/N)- Hey Adam wat up

Adam- About to do the smoothie challenge. Gonna die soooo just wanted to say my last words

(Y/N)- Lel Sorry can't help. I'll come to your funeral

(Y/N)- who's making you smoothie

Adam- Max

(Y/N)- sucks for you hahhahhahahh

Adam- ;-;

Adam- Okay, gotta go

(Y/N)- BYEEEEEEE

Adam- Bye

Adam- for good

I rolled my eyes.

I sat down on the couch and started a vlog.

"Hey guys! Wat up! This is (YT/N) here! Today, we are just walking around meh house..."

I recorded a little and finished up.

I then got a call from an unknown number.

"Hello, this is Dr. Kans here. I just wanted to inform you about your mother. She just passed away..."

Tears welled up in my eyes.

I had been so close to her...

Now she was gone.

"T-thanks.. Um.. For c-calling..."

"I'm sorry. Have a good day..."

I hung up.

I started to cry.

My father passed away when I was young.

I was so sad.

And it's happening again.

My phone buzzed.

Adam- (Y/N)? You there?

Some time went by.

Adam- (Y/N)...

It was now 10:00 at night.

It was down pouring.

Just to match my mood.

The doorbell rang.

I stood up and walked slowly to the door.

I opened it.

There stood a drenched Adam with a worried look on his face.

I pulled him inside and ran to get a towel.

I handed him it.

"What are you doing here at 10:00 at night?"

"I came to check on you, so, what's up? You haven't answered my texts all night."

"M-My..."

My lip quivered.

Adam saw the tears coming and sat me down.

"Okay, tell me slowly. What happened?"

I started sobbing and telling him everything.

He pulled me into a tight hug.

I sniffed.

"W-Why do you even care?"

He raised an eyebrow.

"I care, I care because you're my friend. I'll always be here for you."

"Thank you.."

We sat there hugging for a while.

I pulled away.

"Well, since it's almost 11:00 and by the time you get home it's gonna be at least 12:00, you can stay here I guess."

"I mean, if it's not gonna bother you, then, okay."

I showed him the guest bedroom.

I started to leave.

"Wait! (Y/N)!"

I turned around.

"Yeah?"

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Adam.

" And one more thing (Y/N). It's going to be okay."
