Prologue
--story coming soon!
There is a place where I belong
guarded by pillars of the Hawthorn strong
where nothing is right and nothing is wrong
where I met the Fae and their Kingdom of song
In the perfect madness of the midnight dwellers
My thoughts were muddled and there was no telling
whether I was asleep or awake
In the fear and the fight and the fake
the sparkling lights that danced around the flames
from somewhere in the darkness they came
in armies and militia they trumpeted my knell
they got in my head and changed me to the cell
pulling away the layers
of sense and of mind
I became one of the Faerie Kind
Because in the Kingdom of the Fae
the rules are only what the heart might say
in the moonlight they stole me away to their realm
no falseness no layers of disguise will work
they'll reduce you to what you're really worth
whether you're lazy and whether you're not
whether you care or whatever you thoguht
whatever you do or whatever you ought
they pull at the delicate strings of you heart
help you to find what you love, what you dread
when all is done and all is said
I it is in this Kingdom of Fae you find madness
whether it is real
or exists in you head...
