The seed of a dandelion,
Is more than you would guess.
For every single one of them,
Is a creature, which is blessed.
Gently catch one in your hands,
And cup her in your palm.
Murmur silently a heartfelt wish,
But be careful not to harm.
For when you open up your hand,
And give a gentle blow.
She will take with her your hopes and dreams,
And help them start to grow.
You see encased inside the seed,
Is a fairy small and real.
And the wisps of fluff around her shell,
Takes her where she wills.
And when she's heard your hearts desire,
She takes it home with her.
And turns that dream to reality,
So you can live happily ever after.
So when you catch a dandelion seed,
Look closely at the core.
For inside each and every one,
Is a fairy kind and pure.
