Aaaand I'm gonna rant a bit here

I love my characters, I really do, but I just feel like the story isn't original.
Well, of COURSE it isn't oroginal, it's a highschool story, BUT it was influenced by some series I've been watching. I just can't shake those influences off though.
I just feel like no matter how much I try to make it more "original", my thoughts always go back to those series. It's killing me.

Hell, the name Kestin and him wearing a fedora come from a voice actor that voices some of my favorite characters in a series on YouTube.

The names Vincent and Dante (who is a character I made for a school project story thing last minute) are from a series from the same person on YT...

Some of you might catch which YouTuber and what series I'm talking about.

I wanted to actually do something with my characters, but because of the reasons stated, I don't think they'll be anything but random characters I draw.

So unless I take the story and characters in a direction that I think is a lot better than where it is now, I may just scrap everything.

Yea, just needed to let that out.
