The ride to wherever was really uncomfortable. As in awkward silences, music playing in the background, all that crap.
"Do you wanna know where we're going?"
'He's gonna ask that now?'
"Just let it be a surprise." I kept looking out the window.
"Wouldn't want to spoil your plans right?" I mumbled to myself.
Unfortunately he heard that last sentence.
"We're going to-"
"Nope! Don't tell me!" I covered my ears and closed my eyes.
"La, la, la, la, la..." I don't care if I was acting childish. That's just me.
I kept feeling him tapping my shoulder, but I didn't dare look at him.
"You should be driving." I commented. "Don't really wanna die on my first date ever." Again mumbled to myself and again he heard.
"You've never gone on a date?!" He yelled.
"Oh my gosh!! It's not such a big deal." I said frustrated.
'I hope he's focused on the road.' I thought.
"Why does it even matter?" I asked still not opening my eyes, but taking my hands away from my ears slowly.
"Because now I'm going to make sure this is the best date you've ever been on." I could feel him grinning like an idiot.
"It's definitely the only date I've been on."
"Alright, you can look now."
"Are you sure? I didn't feel the car stop." I lied.
'Hmm, the trip wasn't long this time.'
"Do you want to be tickled again?" He asked, probably looking at me with a smirk.
"No sir!!" I yelled as if I was in the military.
"Good. Now look."
I slowly opened my eyes.
'I love this boy!!!'
