Something short. Sorry! I didn't have time to prepare!!

"Thomas!!"

I jolted up after hearing the scream.

"Y/n?!" I asked, my chest rising and falling.

Silence...

I stood up and walked cautiously towards the door only to have it abruptly open.

Suddenly I was tackled to the ground, confetti covering my eyes.

I flailed uselessly, hearing laughter from above me.

With help, I managed to remove the paper from my face.

Y/n grinned at me, "Happy Valentine's day!"

I sighed, "You scared the daylights out of me! Never scream like that again!"

Y/n smiled and helped me up, "That's the only way I could get a sleepy log like you to wake up!"

I kissed her forehead and beamed, "A gentle 'Good morning' would suffice."

Y/n scoffed, "That would not wake you up.."

"How do you know?" I remarked.

"Because the only thing that'll get you out of bed is loud and obnoxious things. And that's what I am," Y/n stated, crossing her arms.

I laughed, "You're more than just an alarm."

"What else am I, then?" Y/n hummed.

"You're my wonderful girlfriend," I cooed, leaning my forehead on her.

"Aww, I love you," she grinned and leaned up to kiss me.

I smiled and kissed back.

"What's on the agenda for today?" I asked as she pulled away.

"I've made reservations at Olive Garden. But first, we're going to watch La La Land," Y/n cheered.

"Fun!"

A bark came from the doorway.

We turned and saw Harley sitting there with Daisy just lazily laying on the floor beside him.

*Harley

Hello parents...

Happy day of sappy emotions.

I've come to tell you, we are hungry and we don't just want to sit here and watch you eat each other's faces.

We'll meet downstairs when you're ready to feed us.

Small dog, come and help me give them the cold shoulder.

Bark.

I don't care if you're tired..

Bark, boof, bork.

I won't share my kibbles with you..

..

Good. Come along, short one.

*Thomas

"That was... weird," I mumbled.

"Do you think they're hungry?" Y/n asked.

I shrugged, "Most likely. I'll go start up breakfast, you feed them."

Y/n nodded and we made our way downstairs.

And, as expected, Harley was sat beside his food bowl looking awfully emotionless.

Daisy was just passed out on the floor by her dog bed.

Y/n walked up and poured their food into the bowls and sat down.

"What are you gonna make?" Y/n asked me.

"Cinnamon oatmeal."

"Yum."

*after breakfast cos I'm too lazy to write that in

"That was delicious. I didn't know you could cook like that," Y/n complemented.

I grinned, proud of myself, "It's something my mom taught me to make."

"It was amazing."

"Thank you."

After the movie and the dinner cos, again, too lazy and unprepared

We arrived at home, tired, full, and ready to pass out.

Y/n threw her shoes to the side, groaned and flopping on the sofa, "I'm tired."

I chuckled, "Me too."

She flipped over and faced me, "Get over here."

I walked over and sat beside her, leaning down to press my mouth to hers.

Y/n smiled, "I was gonna say that I'm sleeping with you tonight."

"And why is that?" I asked.

"Cos the heater in my room broke and I'm not sleeping in Antarctica," she remarked.

"Sounds good."

Y/n laughed, "Let's go then. I'm pooped and, to be honest, I just wanna sleep."

I helped her up, "Let's go, then."

The rest of that night, we just spent talking about what we were gonna do tomorrow and freaking out about Stranger Things season two.

Nothing inappropriate whatsoever.. STOP THINKING IT, YA NASTIES!!

Anywho, that was the little romantic blurb that was missing. I realized that so far thing haven't been lovey-dovey so I thought, 'Hey! Why not make an extremely sappy update?' So here it is; in all its glory.

Again, sorry for the shortness of the chapter! More coming soon. Along with the story's 1 year anniversary! On March 6th, I published the first chapter to this story. So for that day, I'm gonna need ideas.
