*Olivia*

"Here's your change," I smiled at one of my regulars. "Have fun visiting your daughter."

"I will dear," he smiled walking off.

"Ms. Grayson," Jamie said. "Is it okay if I leave early, I'm taking my mom and baby sister out for a Valentine's day dinner."

"Of course you can," I smiled. "Have fun and give them my love."

"I will," he smiled grabbing his backpack and running out the door. Laughing softly I grabbed my laptop since I was the only one in the shop I went ahead and decided to send the orders for the café and bookshop.

"Olivia, can we talk?" Startled I jumped looking wide eyed at Amelia.

"Uh," I mumbled closing the laptop and getting up. "Do you want some coffee or something?"

"Coffee would be great," she smiled walking over and sitting at the counter. "You have a cute shop."

"Thanks," I smiled her coffee in front of her. "Hazelnut flavored coffee. What did you want to talk about?"

"It's about Antonio," she said and I groaned dropping my head on the counter. "I know how you feel when it comes to this sort of life."

"Did Mr. Cortez force you to marry him the day after you turned eighteen?" I mumbled opening the display case and pulling the plate of cookie and doughnuts out.

"Alexander and Antonio are alike in many ways," she smiled. "One of them being they don't know how to ask or wait for the things they want. Alexander forced me to marry him even though I was seeing someone else at the time and over the years I have thought about leaving him like I did when I was pregnant with Antonio."

"You left him?" I asked surprised. "Your the only person I know that can take down the Cortez boys."

"I am they're mother and I know all of their dirty little secrets," she smiled sweetly. "You just have to know how to deal with them."

"I don't want to know how to deal with them," I sighed. "I lost my mom because of that life I don't want my daughter to grow up like that, scared that someone she cares about could be killed or taken."

"I know that feeling," Amelia smiled sadly. "After you left Antonio lost his common sense."

  "What?" I'm asked confused.

"When you left and no one could find you Antonio thought that you had been taken by one of his enemies. He started using a lot of vices and was making mistakes, there were a few times he nearly got himself killed before we were able to get him to calm down."

"Alec didn't tell me any of that," I sighed rubbing my forehead. "Are you telling me this because you think I should go back to Antonio?"

"Yes and no," Amelia said grabbing my hands. "Antonio may be an idiot but he does love you and he wants you back and by law the two of you are still married and you have a little miracle."

  "What exactly are you saying?"

"I'm saying that," she smiled softly. "Give him a chance to get to know you and your daughter, give him a chance to earn your trust back."

"Easier said than done," I sighed looking up when the door opened.

"Mommy," Gracie yelled running in. "Hi Uncle Alec's mom."

"Hi sweetie," Amelia smiled and I picked Gracie up. "I should be going before Alexander sends a search party for me."

"Bye," Gracie yelled wiggling around as I set her on the ground. "Mommy, I go upstairs?"

"Yes," I smiled watching her run to the back. "I'll think about what you said."

"Oh and Olivia," she said stopping at the door. "I never said take it easy on him."
