Your phone buzzed.

Josh was calling.

You picked up the phone and pressed it up against your ear.

"Hey Josh, what's up?" You said casually.

"Hi, have you seen Tyler?" Josh asked,

Oh, it's been two days since you kissed Tyler, you haven't really heard from him since.

Pursing your lips, "No, I haven't, not since about two days, why?"

"We-uh, Tyler and I have a concert tomorrow and we need to get ready for it soon," Josh responded.

You furrowed your eyebrows.

"Tyler told me that blurry is acting up agai-" Josh cut you off.

"You don't think he is, is he?" He questioned.

"Is what?"

"Cutting, as we speak."

My goodness, you hated that word. It broke your heart knowing that Tyler did cut. You know that it's hard for him to stop, so you don't push him to make him mad.

"I-I don't know Josh, should we go check on him?" You stuttered, very concerned.

"Sure. See you there in five minutes," Josh hung up.

Your finger anxiously tapped on your steering wheel, your thoughts consuming your mind.

You wish you could tell Tyler how much you adored him. But all that you can do now is just be there for him, he needs someone by his side.

You're okay with that.

You pulled into Tyler's driveway, Josh parking next to you.

Slamming the car door shut, you walked over to Josh.

"Hey," You said in a sad tone.

Josh walked up and hugged you a little tighter than he usually does.

"I-I'm just so anxious, I hope Tyler's okay," Josh said in the crook of your neck.

Giving the poor man a reassuring smile, you said, "Josh, it will all be okay."

"Okay," He said, pulling back.

"Ready to go in?" You asked.

"Yeah,"

Both of you knocked on the door, but got no answer.

You tried the door knob, which opened right away.

It's unlocked.

Stepping through the door, your eyes scanned the room.

It seemed darker then it's warm radiant feel.

"Tyler?" Your voice croaked out, as you neared his bedroom.

Tyler was seated on the edge of his bed, his head in his hands. He was breathing heavily, like he was having an anxiety attack.

You quickly ran over to his side, rubbing his back trying to calm him.

"Hey Josh could you go get Tyler a glass of water please?" You asked, and Josh nodded.

"Breathe Tyler, inhale, exhale." You said, trying to comfort and calm Tyler.

Josh rushed in with a glass of water and quickly gave it to Tyler, which he chugged down.

"I-I'm glad you guys came, I thought n-no one would," Tyler said, in between sobs.

"Tyler Robert Joseph, Josh and I will always stick by your side. Remember, I promised," You said.

You glanced down at Tyler's wrist.

Josh was correct, Tyler had been cutting again.

With many refusals and you asking all the time, Tyler gave in and finally let you clean off his wrists with a washcloth.

Josh glanced down at the alarm clock on Tyler's nightstand, it was very late.

"Tyler, Josh and I need to get going," You said in a calming voice.

"No." Tyler said sternly.

"You're both staying with me tonight, I don't want to be alone."

Which, of course, lead you and Josh staying the night at Tyler's.
