Authors Note: This story is inspired by an internet hoax that circulated back in 2011. It claimed that in 1998 NASA satellites intercepted a radio message in an algorithmic language, broadcast from the Andromeda galaxy over 80,000 years ago. Thirteen years later NASA broke the code, and deciphered a message. What they discovered was more shocking than anything they had imagined. While none of this ever happened, these claims loosely form the inspiration for this story.
