Just Not Bothered

I have been a gladiator in an arena full of hypocritical spectators.
Their biases have given me a heart of Spartacus with a mind running with thoughts devoid of vengeance.
So I'm pleased.
I'm hopeful of a fairytale escape from captivity.

I have visions of a place of liberation.
A pillow of tranquillity I shall lay my head.
I see a room of solitude.
That's my contention of peace.
Oh, my dreams leading to my gratification.

I shall fight my way through the set of obstacles.
I deem it a ground for a skill test.
A look again around ignites chuckles.
My hope of escape and joy coalesced.
