It's another two weeks before Dirk lets me see our new master bedroom. It's really nice. His bed is in the center, and there's a TV at the end of it. There's dressers on either side of the room, but those are Dirk's. He gave me the walk in closet. Which sits right next to our new bathroom. The bathroom is amazing. There's a huge tub slash shower and a two person vanity. We move everything into the new room and then we're both busy.

Dirk's working every other day, and doing gigs every other night. I work every day with Andrew except for weekends. Dirk and I barely see each other, and we definitely don't have time to pick out a dog. By the time October rolls around though I'm not working on a movie, and Dirk's cutting back hours on his day job. We're going to my premier tonight, and I got my cast off yesterday. Tomorrow we're suppose to pick out a dog. I'm so excited.

We've both got a week off for the puppy and I can't wait to spend a whole week with Dirk. It'll be great since we haven't been seeing each other in so long. But he's not home yet, so technically our week together hasn't started. I sigh and stretch out on the futon. I grab Hal's shades from the coffee table and turn them on. I told him I wanted to take him to work with me, then I got really busy and I just kept forgetting.

"Hey Hal."

TT: You sound guilty.

"I forgot to take you to work."

TT: I really wish I had a sense of time.
TT: How long did you forget me?

"It's October."

TT: I wouldn't have been forgotten if I wasn't trapped in these shades.

"I know, and I'm sorry. We've been really busy with the move and both of us working. But now it's calming down and we're getting a puppy. I'm going to take you to work my first day back since Dirk has put you in a pair of my shades."

TT: You two are getting a puppy?

"Oh yeah, I guess I never got to tell you. But yeah we're getting a puppy."

TT: What kind of puppy?

"It's a caucasian shepherd."

TT: That's quite a big dog for you.

"How do you know?"

TT: Well when I found out about dogs I wanted to find out about all of them.
TT: This was back when I had access to the internet.

"Huh." For some reason I start thinking about Dirk's rabbit robots. They have lenses in their eyes so they can see. I wonder if Hal can, or if he ever did. "Hey Hal?"

TT: Hello Dave.

"No I meant that as a question."

TT: Oh. Then ask away.

"Can you see?"

TT: See? Not out of these shades. Just what's on the screen.
TT: I use to be able to. I could look through any camera I could hack.

"Do you miss it?"

TT: Yes, most definitely.

"Do you think it's possible to put a camera on the shades so you can see?"

TT: It should be. I doubt Dirk would do it though.

"We'll see about that." I hear Dirk's car pull in. "Alright Hal, Dirk's back."

TT: Then I suppose this is farewell.

"Just for now, I'll be back." I set Hal's shades down on the coffee table and rush to the door as it starts to open.

"Jesus Dave, are you trying to scare me?" I smile in response and Dirk nudges the door shut. As soon as it's shuts I push him back against it. He drops his keys on the little table by the door and quickly wraps his arms around my back. "What are you up to?" I flutter my eye lashes at him and rub my hands along his chest. "Okay, I get it. You want something."
