THIRD PERSON POV

"I CAN'T believe this. All along si Ruzell Reid lang pala ang kalaban natin? That all this time he was the goddamn culprit? Fucking hell, I can't fucking believe this. Naloko tayong lahat ng wala man lang kamalay malay" Maximo breathed out exasperatedly.

After all that happened, mukhang sila lang siguro ang hindi alam ang nangyayari dahil sa pagtatago sa kanila ng katotohnanan. Parang hindi sila kasapi sa organisasyong kinalalagyan.

"Now I know why that mystery girl chooses to kill that so-called leader of Shadow Gang on that very same bloody night..." makahulugang wika ni Loki, remembering that moment when Quentine killed the man without batting eyelashes.

"By mystery girl, you mean that Fontanilla girl..." asked Professor D.

Tumango si Loki sa dalaga, "She was so sure to kill that crap because she knew all along who was the enemy so she didn't think twice of executing him that man para narin siguro ipakita kay Zero na hindi sya natatakot dito. What a fantastic turned of events indeed, hindi lang si Reid ang nanloko sa atin. Kahit sya ay nilinlang tayo sa pagbabalat kayo bilang ibang tao... how on earth a died person was brought back to life? Miracles? No, there's no such thing like that..."

Maximo snorted, "That wicked bitch. Kung hindi ko lang talaga alam na apo sya ni Don Martin, it would be my pressure to strangle her little neck. She made us believe that she was dead, what a scheming bitch."

Loki chuckled by his choice of words, "Your tongue will be going to get you killed, stop digging your own grave, Maxy" paalala nito sa kapwa HC.

"I already dig my own before I joined this mafia organization," balik sagot ng binata dito. "I know when will my time would end and that person probably hasn't born yet." Pagmamalaki ni Maximo na tila walang paki alam sa gustong iparating sa kanya ni Loki.

Marahang napailing nalang sa kanya si Loki, "They were born already, you just happen of not meeting one yet..." makahulugang balik sagot nya kay Maximo.

Hindi naman kumibo pa si Maximo para sagutin pabalik si Loki, he's not in the mood to argue nonsense things, isa pa ay dahil walang sense kausap ang taong kaharap nya.

"It is true then... that the people we all thought were dead was alive after all" biglang sambit ni Professor D, nakahalukipkip ito habang nakaupo sa silyang gawa sa kahoy sa harap ng isang mahabang mesita.

"And not only that, dad told me her parents were alive too. Hindi ko alam kung matatawa o maiinis sa mga nangyayari, this is entirely unbelievable- dead people aren't dead. Like what the fuck is wrong with the world?" si Maximo na malakas na ibinagsak ang baso ng alak sa mesang katapat. Ang makakapal na kilay nito ay magkasalubong.

"The world is changing Maximo, you have to keep up with it. Isa pa, my father told me that it was all Damascus Cersei's plan to make people believe about their tragic death. He purposely planned it, katulad ng kung paano nya plinano na gamitin ang kanyang apo para paikutin tayo. Para lokohin at malinlang sa totoo nitong pakay at pagkatao... Zero, huh? What a scheming bastard... but to my delight, finally she did the right thing and dispatched him. I like the new side of her at the same time terrified, ni hindi sya nangiming patayin si Reid. That means hindi rin sya magdadalawang isip na patayin ang sino mang kakalaban sa kanya- or her family" sambit naman ni Loki, nakasandal ito sa pader at may hawak na kopita sa isang kamay. Pinaikot ikot nito ang laman na alak doon bago ininom iyon.
