Wowowow! I'm honestly impressed. The story was nothing I expected and I love being surprised with a good read. Emily is so relatable, especially in the chapter where she sees her parents. To a person going through depression or difficulties life seems boring and pointless and the author expressed that perfectly. If you want to get a look inside the head of someone with depression then I recommend this book!

Still, I have found some really minor details that could be worked on. Mental institutes don't have pianos; they're too dangerous around unstable people. They have something more like an art room or boardgames or a room that's a bit like a living room where patients watch TV and introduce new patients and interact.

Also patients should get counselling on a daily basis to make sure everything is okay in general. (I used to get strong panicattacks so that's how I know. If you need any more advice or insight into the topic feel free to PM my personal acc :)).

All in all a wonderful story with cliffhangers and amazing and realistic characters! A must-read!
