"Nice one, kid." The officer said before walking out.
"Wait! I swear they were there!" Felix protested.
"Nice try." The officer walked out of the building and drove off, the second car following close behind.
"What happened?" Mike asked.
"The bodies were moved!" Felix said in disappointment.
"What?" Stephanie asked in shock.
"Moved! Gone! Goodbye! Abientôt!" Felix yelled in frustration.
"Felix, calm down! We'll find the bodies AND the murderer. It all gonna be alright." Mike tried to reassure his boss.
"Until then..." Felix began. "No one can know about this. Work starts in 30 minutes. Don't say a word to anybody, okay?" Felix asked.
"Yes, Mr. Fazbear." Mike said, taken back by this sudden spark of insensitivity.
"Good. I'll be in my office." Felix said, walking off.
"Do you want help?" Stephanie retorted quickly, avoiding any awkward silence.
"You can work up front until Jane gets here if you want," Mike suggests.
"Sure," Steph agrees.
"I'll be in the security office." Mike waves.
2 hours pass by and the pizzeria soon becomes full, which is not unusual for a Saturday at 11am on not the nicest of days. The sky was grey with a big black cloud hovering over the building.
The phone began ringing on the desk. Stephanie answered quickly ready to be professional.
"Hello, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. How can I help you?" She asked.
"Hi, this is Jane Devlin. I won't be able to make it to work today. Very sorry." An older woman on the other side informed Steph.
"That's no problem at all. What position are you working in?" Steph asked.
"I work at the front desk." Jane told her.
"Okay. Thank you!" Steph said before hanging up.
Felix came out of his office to check on the kids and staff. To make sure no ones head is getting eaten... again...
"Who was that?" Felix asked Stephanie.
"Jane Devlin. She works at the front desk. I'm filling in for her." Stephanie told him.
"Oh, okay. Was she sick?" Felix asked.
Stephanie just shrugged, "She didn't sound sick."
Felix brushed it off, he had more important things to do, like write a murder case for the police maybe??
When he was walking back to his office he grew suspicious over Stephanie.
"How is she able to get over the loss of her husband so soon?" He thought to himself.
A dull sky dawned over the building, fitting for a day like today.
Perfect for a night of dismay...
