In the corner of his eye John, who
was the smartest, caught sight of a small red lever on the other side of the room. John exclaimed, "Look a lever we need to pull it!" As everyone nodded one thought was going through all of their minds. Is there enough time?
Suddenly, the floor began opening and closing with lava underneath! They all gasped in horror as they knew this was the end, they couldn't get the lever. Jim opened his backpack finding a grapple hook.
Quickly, Jane snatched the hook and hauled it as far as she could and tugged at the lever. It was too strong the others got their hands and pulled. Then the lever went down and all three let out a sigh of relief.
Slowly, the ground let out a roar and the ground came back together, the door shot open and the walls widened. As quick as a flash, they zoomed out of the door.
