I woke up, the sun getting in my eyes and making me squint. I tried to get up out of bed, but an unknown force kept me still on the bed, around my waist. I looked behind me to see Snowe, his platinum blonde hair somewhat messy and in his eyes. I never knew how gorgeous he’d look, even when he was asleep. But what made me frown was his character in the game.In the game, he was spoiled, a coward, and jealous of select people. I didn’t want to think it, but he’s probably like that in this universe as well. Again, my mind wandering as it does at times, I’m in bed. In a room. Alone. With Snowe. Fuck. Now, usually I don’t cuss, but this is a different scenario. I faced forwards, my face burning, and my heart's pace quickening. I felt him stir, and I turned to face him, his stunning blue eyes locking with mine. A smile graced his features.
“Good morning,” he said. My face felt as if it were on fire. He pulled me in closer, his breath tickling my neck. “S-Snowe!” I stuttered. He snickered. “Yes?” he asked. “What are you doing?”
“Spending time with someone I enjoy being around.”
“But if any of the others walk in… won’t they get the wrong idea?”
“Ahh… I guess you're right…”He let go, then sat up, stretching. Oh god… His abs are perfect… I stood up, only realizing then that what I was wearing as pajamas, was rather….revealing. I quickly stripped, then dressed in record time, pulling on my navy blue shirt and tan man-shorts, as I called them, and my socks and boots. I turned to see Snowe pulling on his right boot, then he looked at me.
“Let's go to town. I'll deal with Lazlo later,” he said. I nodded, then got my rapier. We are exited the inn, into the main square. We walked around, examining armor and souvenirs. I spotted Gunter, the dice-player near the item shop. He waved us over, and I walked up to the gambler, much to Snowe's dismay.
“It must be fate that brings us together,” or you waving us over…. “How about a game of dice?” he asked. I nodded. He set up his little game. “Triple Toss,” I said. He nodded. I found two-thousand potch in my pockets, then put it on the table. He threw in three dice, two of them landing on a six, one landing on three. “My hand is three.” I took the dice, then threw them into the bowl, each landing 4-5-6. I won double the money bet. It went this way, until I felt like I was gonna slit someone’s throat and got three 1’s, then I stopped, earning quadruple the money I bet.
Me and Snowe ended up buying medicine, and escape talismans (my idea) then headed back to the inn. Everything was going great, until I ended up tripping and falling onto Snowe in the middle of the town square…
His ocean blue orbs stared into my e/c ones, my heart felt like a drum at this point. He chuckled. “All over me, aren’t you?” he joked. I flushed and looked away, muttering “shut up”. I helped the noble knight up, then we continued to the inn.
We got to Lazio’s room. We peered in to see him still asleep. I shushed Snowe, then I walked in, quietly making my way to Lazlo's bed. I continued to straddle him, then gradually let my weight rest on him. Now, I’m not that heavy, but my weight paired with this armor, well, it’s kinda heavy… He eventually woke up, groaning, then gasping for air.
“Ngah! Get off of me! Oh god! God! You're too big! You're too big!” he said. I lowered my mouth to his ear. “That’s what your mother said,” I teased. I got up off of him, allowing him to gulp down huge breaths of air, and he glared at me. “You’re a jerk. But a cute one. So I’ll let you off easy…” he said, slipping a shirt over his head. Me and Snowe met up with the rest at the harbor side market, to deliver the document to the knight here. We got paid, then we were back on the ship, this time, the trip was more treacherous.
We fought off enemies, with seemingly no end. From muddy fish, to wild seaweed. We arrived home in Razril, and as we stepped off, I almost fell so I darted my hands forward to catch myself, to meet with a strange interface. I saw portraits of me and the team, then I realized this was the status screen for us. I looked around, and it was as if time froze around me. How strange… I looked at our levels, to see me and Snowe were at level 6, Lazlo was at lvl 7, and Jewel and Tal were lvl 5. I left the interface, then stared at my hands. Was this a power only I wielded? Or did Lazlo wield it as well? If he didn’t, then I decided I’d take his place by Snowe, and help them with choices, much like Deborah from Middleport inn. I shook it off, then went to follow Snowe and Lazlo, to see we had another job.
It was the damp hairball one. We decided we were ready, then went to do the job. Well, more monster fighting was okay with me!
