Love, as I see it, is a naive pain one endures for the good of another before his own. It is a flame transcending physical boundaries that needs to be fed for it to last. Like any fire, if gas is poured on it without caution, it will quickly turn everything else into ashes, shining a light so strong it can make one blind and lose himself into an abuse of ecstatic moments eventually fueled by desire more than love itself. We agreed to let ourselves be vulnerable to our loved ones because they know the face of us they perceive from what we let them see. We gave them keys to doors in our mind needing to stay shut, knowing they can open them anytime and take a peek in the deeper parts of you. Things they want and dont want to see are lying in wait behind the many doors of love, things we often don't wanna see for ourselves.
