He thought that you were right in front of him.
He thought this was a joke.
He thought that you were gone.
He didn't want to think that you lied to him again.
He was about to close the door, until he heard a voice.
He thought it was you, but that wasn't your voice.
He knew your voice by heart and that wasn't it.
That wasn't you.
And he wished she never rang the doorbell again so he could've been with you.
