the door to her en-suite swung open, cole's eyes avoiding hers as he paced
back into the room and shut the door behind him.

lyla didn't allow him time to say anything before darting towards him, cupping his face with her hands and pressing her lips firmly to his.

he responded by placing one hand on her waist, curling it round and pulling her towards him as he took a deep breath and sighed into the kiss, a smile forming on his face as his free hand lifted to caress her cheek gently.

lyla pulled away breathless seconds later, tiptoeing to kiss his nose once and staring into his eyes.
