CHAPTER 1

Lauraine's POV

Grade 5 nako and I wanted to join choir. I have a good voice naman eh. So I decided to audition. And nakuha naman ako. Alam ko naman na makukuha ko eh. You know? And then may practice daw sa guidance office ng 4:00pm so after my math class pumunta nako.

And nakita ko ang coach namin . She's beautiful. I mean she have a white skin and cute dimples with braces. Long hair and she really have a good voice. So after that pumunta ako sa isang upuan sa harap. And may nakatabi akong girl. She's cute. And then I texted Carmen my best friend. Kasi kasali sya sa choir. And sakto nakita ko na sya papasok ng office.

And then yung girl na katabi ko is dumating yung friend nya. And I heard na Janna ang name yung friend nya. And hindi ko naman alam na friend din pala ni Carmen yung Janna. And then they talked. So kami nung girl na katabi ko ay na Out Of Place. Sino ba naman ang hindi? Like duhhh wala kaya akong kilala don. So wala akong makausap. I don't want naman na kausapin yung girl. Kaya nilabas ko nalang yung phone ko.

After the practice pumunta nako sa car. And sabi ko sa driver ay magdrive-thru muna kami. I want some Fries. So I ordered two large fries for me and mommy. Si daddy? Ayun nasa States binibisita yung iba naming relatives and para rin sa work.

The next day nakita ko uli yung girl sa room. And I found out na classmate ko pala sya. Kaya naisip ko is may kasabay nako sa practice.

Ngayon ia- announce na yung Top 10. And habang sinasabi yung mga names, kinakabahan ako. I mean hindi pa kasi binabanggit name ko. And finally Top 2 na pero sabi ng adviser namin is walang Top2 kasi there's a tie. So it means dalawa yung Top1? OhGosh sana isa nako dun. And natulala ako nung sinabi na yung top  1. Its me and the girl na kasama ko sa choir and I heard her name its Sofia Lauren M. Torres.
GOSH!!!!!  Ayoko! Ayoko na may katie ako sa Top 1. I mean since nagaral ako I'm always on top.

And pauwi nako pagkarating ko is nakita ko na si mommy.

" Oh anak andito kana pala. How are you?" Sabi ni Mommy
"Im okay, by the way Top1 po ako mommy but meron akong ka tie." Sabi ko habang nagbibigay ng malungkot na ngiti.
"Its okay sweetheart. At least Top1 ka parin. By the way sino?" Nagtatakang tanong ni mommy. Nagtaka ako bakit nya tinanong. But I answered.
"Base sa narinig ko po her name is SOFIA LAUREN M. TORRES"sagot ko
"Sofia.. Lauren...M.Torres?" Gulat na tanong nya.
" Yes mommy, bakit po?" Nagtatakang sagot ko.
" Nothing. Parang familiar sakin yung name eh." Hindi ko nalang pinansin yung sinabi ni Mommy and sagot ko nalang is...
"Uhm, mommy punta muna po ako sa room ko." Sabi ko
"Okay my dear. Take a shower first, and then take a nap. Gisingin nalang kita if the dinner is ready."she replied
"Okay mommy"I said

Kinabukasan nagising ako ng maaga para makapasok ng maaga and para makapagreview for the quiz. Pagdating ko sa room I saw our adviser. She's writing something on her desk. I admire our adviser because she is so beautiful and smart. She looks cute with glasses and with her long straight hair.

"Good morning ma'am" I said
"Good morning G Lauraine. Ang aga mo naman yata. Its 7:00 am our classes starts at 8:00." Sabi ni Ma'am Ai.
"Magrereview po ako maam for our quiz today."Sagot ko
" Oh that's good. So I'm expecting you to have a high score" Natatawang sinabi ni teacher Ai.
"I'll try my best maam but hindi ko po kayo bibiguin and i'll try my best po to have a perfect score" Saad ko.
"Okay so maiwan muna kita I will just go to the office" sabi ni maam
" Okay po maam" sagot ko

And then pag-alis ni Maam Ai dumating si Lauren. And she did exactly what Im doing. So? So there's a competition in here that is going to happen? HUH! Well Im going to get a perfect score.

After the quiz kinakabahan ako. And after the checking I saw my score and I was so happy. And our teacher announce our scores and after i announce yung score ko pumalakpak sila. And I saw Lauren clapping too. And syempre kailangan ko din malaman score nya and Maam Ai said that she has a perfect score too.

WHAT?!!!!!!!!!. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I SUPER DUPER HATE LAUREN!!!! If natalo nya ko sa 2nd Quarter humanda sya. And magmula noon hindi ko sya kinakausap even if we're groupmates pinipilosopo ko sya. I mean bagay nya lang yun.
