The Beast, also known as, Monkey. D Garp, creeped over to its prey, aka the Three Dum-heads that are idiotically blabbering loudly about being pirates,
"I'm going to become a pirate before either of you!" Exclaimed a clueless Luffy,
Unlike me and my mom, the bandits did a huge spit take realizing the Monster that just walked into the small hut is about to be unleashed,
"You two are still going on about that?" Garp asked with a venomous tone,
Ace and Luffy realized who they were actually facing, considering they also did a spit take, leaving a clueless yet confused but still adorably cute Sabo in the sidelines.
"WHAT PART ABOUT BECOMING MARINES DO YOU TWO NOT UNDERSTAND!?"
Giving the two a probably leaving mark on their heads, and if they don't it's bound to be traumatic, I thought as I internally winced a bit glad that I was not in there place but still had enough sympathy for them,
"Dadan!"
"Yes, Garp-sa-...." the woman was interrupted given the same treatment as the two boys laying unconscious on the ground,
"Why did I get hit too...?" The woman muttered barely conscious,
"It seems your not educating the brats enough." The old man muttered darkly,
"......So this geezer is Ace and Luffy's Grandfather?" Sabo muttered clearly frightened,
"You got that right" I answered back hiding behind my mother,
"Kid, you said something about sailing the seas too?" Garp muttered again with his murderous tone, eyeing Sabo, until Luffy stood up blocking Sabo from Garp,
"He's not 'Kid', He's Sabo!! We exchanged Oaths over cups of Sake to become pirates!"
Ace in the background sulking while I patted his back sweat dropping at the scene,
"That mouth of his..."
"You'll get over it"
Garp started cracking his Knuckles speaking with a booming aura around him, "Really? So the number of idiots who need to be taught a lesson has increased to three?"
The three boys stiffed for a kilo second before bolting out the door with a battle cry, "YOU CAN'T RUN!!" Exclaimed Garp running after the trio,
"Well I guess this is goodnight Mateo, Dadan" My mom farewelled,
"What?" Me and Dadan said in unison,
"Oh I forgot to tell you this, but Mateo you'll be staying with Dadan to bond with Luffy and his brothers" my mom smiled Angelically,
"WHAT? ANOTHER BRAT!? YOU PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND! I AM NOT A DAYCARE! I AM A BANDIT LEADER! B!-A!-N!-D!-I!-T! BANDIT!"
"Oh but Mateo can take care of himself, he's also a real helpful, I almost need to do nothing in the bar without his help!" My mom encouraged,
"Do you really wish to corrupt your child even more with these bandits Makino?" Asked the Mayor sweat dropping,
"Absolutely!" Smiled mom, "well if he can take care of himself and do some chores to help, he can stay" bargained Dadan,
"Thank you Dadan! I hope to see you soon!" Mom thanked, before crouching down to my height to give me a hug and a kiss goodnight,
"Now be good Mateo"
"I will be, Ma'!" I hugged her back, before she gave me a small crochet and knitting basket, and small sewing compartment,
"Something to remember me by ,sweetheart" she smiled before escaping to the light of the moon out in the horizon,
"Where will I sleep Ms. Dadan?" I asked politely,
"SO POLITE!!" Dadan replied in shock, well almost traumatized considering her eyes bursting out of their sockets,
"You can sleep with the boys Mateo" Dogra smiled trying to de-traumatize his boss, I just nodded happily and went off to their room considering Luffy showed it to me earlier, I added some blankets and Pillows to a small corner of the room maintaining some distance with the boys knowing that the two older two would need more trust from me to count on me sleeping next to them, so I started doing some typical crochet while sitting on a box near the moonlit window, after a few hours of constant faded screams from the forest which were obviously the trio's cry for help and trying to escape the rabid beast chasing them,
I saw a tall silhouette of someone marching towards us which I knew was Garp, then after few more minutes three smaller silhouettes came back obviously exhausted from the chase, I smiled knowing that Garp would never actually kill the boys,
Maybe put them in a coma... but atleast not kill 😅
Ace swung the door open already making a bee line to his cot, Sabo going in after tired looking, while dragging a sleepy and tired Luffy on the floor, until all three were in bed.
"Goodnight..." muttered Sabo,
"Goodnight" snoozed a Luffy,
"Goodnight......" grumbled Ace,
"Goodnight!" I beamed, there was a moment of silence,
...
...
...
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Ace argued getting in a sloppy fighting position, I wouldn't blame the guy, he got chased by Satan himself,
"Crocheting?" I said in a 'duh' tone, nodding towards the piles and piles of yarn and needles, "incandescent Dadan didn't tell you, I'm now living with you here" I smiled at Ace,
He just continued glaring while Luffy cheered already forgetting he was just asleep, and Sabo just smiling kindly,
This was a lot of work to do...
