I look at you I'm intrigued, I can't function, Its fatigue

See, you got my mind gone, and its something you should know
When I'm near you, it takes effort, just to get my blood to flow
But I don't know you, you're a stranger, so that puts my soul in danger
To give you power like no other, I should run and duck for cover
I don't want to, because I want you, give me something to move onto
Give me something to hold on to, give me something I can run to
Just in case I slip and fall, I still need something to come home to
Because even though I want you, no guarantee I'll ever have you
I see this, I see that, my mind goes back to who?
No matter what I do, I always stop and think of you
What you do, and how you do it, can you show me who you are?
