"You don't have to be blood to be family."

***

It wasn't long before the staff started bursting through the door and take a good grip to Asher and Aaron's hands. Each and everyone of us who was involved in this was forced back into our seats and had to be executed from the plane as soon as we landed. Too bad they couldn't throw us out while we were mid air.

We weren't free to go when we arrived in Bangkok's international airport, no. They sent us to one of those meeting rooms where we were forced to look at our enemy and not being able to do anything. The girl was sitting next to me and I didn't let go of her hand ever since we landed, just because I was scared the guy was going to do something.

"Are you okay?" She whispered to Aaron who was sitting on the other side of her. His eyes were cold and hard but when he locked eyes with her, they softened. "Yeah," he responded. "I'm fine,"

"Yeah?" She laughed as she stretched out her hand to point at the bruise on his face, "you've got a little something on your face,"

"Really?" He asked surprised. Obviously he didn't think of the bruise because he started touching it and wincing after wards, "I was just," she started off. "You know what, I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"I should've just pushed him away when I could," she whispered.

"You guys really didn't have to jump in,"  Aaron looked at her with pity and shook his head. He reached out his hand to touch her on the shoulder but refrained  not to considering Muslim girls aren't allowed to touch boys, well, I think they're advised not to. I respected Aaron so much for that, but I don't think I could compare how much I respected him to how much she respected him.

She was beaming,

"I wanted to jump in, the guy was a dick." Aaron exclaimed and adding a smile to it. She smiled back and I could've sworn they had a little moment there.

"Hey, I'm like right in front of you,"

"Yo," Asher responded to the man who's the reason to all of this ruckus.

"What?"

"Shut up,"

I snorted and slapped Asher lightly on his shoulder. He raised his shoulders in defense. "The guy had it coming,"

Before I could even respond to his statement, the door opened and in came a young Thai man. He must be the airline/airport CEO, and he didn't look impressed. He took a seat in front of us and clapped his hands together and he inhaled. He was wearing a suit and his hair was nicely combed, he didn't look like an amateur - that's for sure.

"Who wants to take the word first?" He asked in his Thai accent.

I raised my hand. "Sir, I'll go,"

He nodded carefully. I started by telling him from the moment I entered the airplane to the moment both Asher and Aaron started attacking the guy. The CEO nodded in acknowledgement and even cut me off a few time to ask me further and detailed questions. After long hours of arguing and long hours of explaining, my talking finally came to an end and the CEO looked pleased by my explanation.

We all watched him carefully as he started off, "In our airline, racism is not allowed at any rate,"

The Evil guys face fell and the power was back to us. If he thought he could come into another country and apply to his rules then he was absolutely wrong. CEO walked over to the girl who was the victim of all of this and apologized. "This is not how humans are supposed to behave," he said sternly as he looked at the guy. He then pulled out something from his jacket, something that looked like a card. He handed one to each of us and two to the girl, "This is tickets to any destinations with our airline. Show this to the front desk when you check in and you'll get a ticket to that destination."

Sure enough when I looked at the card, it was pretty detailed and looked really professional. The card had a code to it and then a name to it which was my own name. "Hey, you couldn't just randomly have these in your pocket with our names on it unless you kn-"

I stopped talking when I noticed the smile on his face, "You knew we were right, didn't you,"

He shrugged, "I know good people when I see them," he says with a wink.

Katie nudged me in the rib, and I had to say that she had a very very very pointy elbow for it to actually hurt this much. ''Stop smiling like that, you're creeping me out!'' She pauses, ''No, actually. You're creeping them out!'' she declared. I guess I was too busy staring at the two in front of me that I didn't notice the heavy glare Katie gave me.

Excuse me for being a hopeless romantic and actually shipping Maya and Aaron. We're currently seated at a restaurant downtown in Bangkok and who did we bring along? Maya.

Who insisted? Aaron.

And guess who tagged along with no hesitation? Maya.

I'm saying, the two of them are one true pair – I totally ship them.

Apparently Maya's grandparents lives in Bangkok and she's on a vacation here to visit them. We all went to the hotel to take a quick shower, only to leave an hour later to catch up with Maya again. When we met her, we noticed how she had changed into something a little lighter. She wore a blouse and then a skirt that I just envied so much. I'm wearing shorts of course but if I had skirts like her, I would jump in them right away.

Mental note to myself, buy skirts. But then again, it's not like I'm going to wear them when I get home.

Anyways, back to Maya. All of us complimented her, all of us except for Aaron. No, he wasn't being rude – he was just simply shocked and when Asher pushed him into saying something, he couldn't even form a sentence.

I kept teasing him and he didn't even deny that he somehow developed some feelings for the girl.

I couldn't blame him though, she was gorgeous.

''What are you going to use your ticket for?'' Maya asked Aaron, smiling. Aaron stroked his chin while pretending to think, ''Maybe a trip back to Singapore or Hong Kong?''

She giggled, ''Beautiful destinations,''

''Yeah?''

''Yup, Hong Kong is amazing and Singapore has beautiful things, like once, I bought this ring there and I haven't worn it once, just because it's so pretty.'' She explained.

Aaron's eyes widened and shortly he fished out something from his pocket, ''Is this yours?'' In his hand was a silver bracelet and I can recall seeing it on Maya's hand earlier.

''Yeah, where did you find it?'' She says amazed. Aaron gives Maya the bracelet and smiles as she studies the bracelet, probably to check if there's any scratches to it. ''In the meeting room with the CEO,''

Katie rolled her eyes as she watched me drool at the two in front of me, ''Where's your boyfriend, Crystal?'' she asks raising her voice at the word 'boyfriend.' – I'm too busy watching the two of them to even think about Asher. I knew he was going to get us some food but I didn't think he would take this long. ''I'm going to help Asher, looks like his stuck with all the food.''

I wave her off, ''Yeah, yeah.''

''You can keep it,'' Maya tells Aaron handing it over to him. ''What would I do with a bracelet?'' He responds like the idiot he is.

''Just take it, you idiot'' I mumble to myself, but I guess he heard it because he glared at me before actually accepting the silver piece.

''Thanks, Maya.''

She nods. Then she whispers something in his ear and he nods. Finally, I can walk over to him and talk to him about what just happened. ''She really likes you,''

Aaron scoffs, ''As if,''

''Do you like bracelets?''

He twirls the little silver peace in his hands, ''I like this one,''
