Today, a girl asked me why I looked like I had been sleep deprived, staring into my eyes like I'd just committed the most nefarious crime and she was the judge, sentencing my years to me.
I blinked at her, and let her question evaporate into the air, turning my head to face the deeply stained whiteboard.
"He looks like that because doesn't sleep, Natalia. He's just a freak."
Eyes fell on me, waiting for a response. The eyes burned holes into my chest and back, especially hers'. Hers' hurt the most.
