HEY GUYS! Sorry it's been so long since I updated but here's the first chapter! ENJOY!!!
It was a normal Wednesday night for Joe who was sitting with his guitar, scribbling lyrics onto a small piece of paper. And then his phone went off. It was Pete.
He picked up the phone and sighed, answering it, "Hey what's up Pete?" He tried his best to sound pleasant but failed as the wear of the day was plainly evident in his voice.
"HEY JOE!" Pete laughed as the sound of music and loud voices buzzed in the background, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?"
Joe sighed and set down his pencil, becoming annoyed. "I'm writing- why do you care?"
He heard Pete laugh and say something to someone else who must have been standing close to him, "IM AT THIS TOTALLY SICK PARTY. YOU'RE MISSING OUT JOE. AND THERE ARE A LOT OF CUTE GUYS HERE THAT WANT TO DANCE WITH YOU." He yelled into the phone, "ALTHOUGH THE HOT BLONDE NAMED DAMIEN IS OFF LIMITS." Pete added with a laugh.
Joe frowned, "Pete why the fuck did you call me? You're obviously drunk."
Pete laughed again, "THERE'S A CUTE GUY WHO WANTS YOUR NUMBER!"
Joe clenched his teeth, "tell him to fuck off and don't offer out my number anymore. Also, please refrain from calling me when you're drunk..." Joe felt his heart dropping in his chest.
Pete rolled his eyes and slipped out of the club where it was more quiet. "Jeez Joe!" He sighed, "can't you have a little fun? Stop being so uptight? I know you're nervous about people knowing you're gay but-"
"It's not that!" Joe cut him off, "it's just that I don't want to come to the club because some random douche wants my number!"
Pete sighed. "Okay, be that way! I'm still giving him your number!" Pete hung up quickly.
Joe hung up and threw his phone across the room. "FUCK!" He yelled and then collapsed on the couch, tears filling his eyes. "Fuck..." he whispered in defeat. He closed his eyes as a tear slipped down his cheek and tried to forget Pete even existed. And that he was at a club right now, probably making out with the hot blonde named Damien. And that he would never be Joe's.
