Kid x Reader (AU)

You were new to the school, well kinda of new. You had friends but not everyone knew you well. You hadn't been there long, and had already ticked off the school's bully. Who you were now sitting next to, he had his arm wrapped around your shoulder, growling as one of his friend gave you a smile and a wink. It's weird how you two got together.

Here's how it all started...

You were walking with your friend Nami, when you had seen Kid picking on Luffy again, his crew surround their 'leader' and your friend. Nami held your shoulder, you looked at her and she shook her head. "Don't Y/n" you growled at her, shrugging her hand off your shoulder, "Hold my glasses please" You slipped your glasses off your face and handed them to her. She sighed, and put your glasses in her pocket, then walked off, not wanting to be involved.

You took a small running start, then round-house kicked Kid straight in the face, the people in the hallway stopped in their tracks. You landed on your feet, seeing a fiery red head Kid now on his ass, holding his nose. Not wanting to see the ending results, you grabbed Luffy's hand and ran off towards outside. It was a free period, and after the free period was over it was time to go home.

You guys hide on the side off the building, Luffy gave you a smile "Thank you Y/n". You patted his head, "Don't mention it" you said, "Red headed asshole needs to stop picking on you, hopefully after today he'll stop" You saw one of Kid's friends, he pointed towards you, then two others came beside him "Shit" you mumbled, you quickly turned to Luffy. "Go hide in one of the classrooms okay" He nodded, and scurried off.

You took a sharp turn around a hallway, and came face to chest with Kid, who had tissue paper up his nose to stop the bleeding. "Your the little ass wipe that kicked my in the face". Kid growled, Your breath stopped in your throat, 'here comes pain' you closed your eyes, waiting to feel pain but the only thing that came was a soft pair of lips to yours. You eyes shot open to see that Kid was kissing you.

Eustass Kid was kissing you! Eustass fucking Kid!

And he was damn good at it too, he held your hands above your head, as he now pinned you to the lockers. 'did a kick to the head turn him on?!' Kid broke the kiss, his amber eyes staring at E/c ones, "Mine" he said simply, taking your hand in his and began walking towards the outside. "W-wait a second!" you said, he stops and looks at you "what?" he looked innocent, his eyes filled with something other hatred. You blushed, and looked down "I kicked you in the face, and you like me!?"

Kid's eyes were wide, but then he smiled childlike "I've always liked you" he said, you looked up at him, "Guess it just took a kick to the head to finally muster up the balls to talk to you" You pointed a shaking finger at him, "Y-Y-You beat up my friend!" Kid tilted his head to you, "Straw boy's your friend?" He asked, you nodded you head. "Okay, i won't pick on him no more then" Kid then took your head again, this time more gently "Come on, it's time to go" As soon as he said that the bell rang. He gave you a smile, and lead you outside.

You walked home with Kid, he really wasn't a bad person when you get to know him. When you arrived at your house he looked as if he didn't want to go home. You looked at the time on your phone.

You sighed, 'Robin and Zoro won't be home till 10:00, so it would be fine if him stayed a little while' Kid was fidgeting with his hands You gave him a smile "Want to come in for awhile?" you asked him, his head shot up. "Your parents?" his response was, you chuckled sadly "I live with my aunt and uncle" He tilted his head to the side "My parents died when i was little"

You stood on your tip-toes to grab you house key, that sat on the top roof like thing above your front door. You couldn't reach it so Kid came over and grabbed it for you, while doing so his hand had placed it's self on your waist. A blush on your cheeks as he handed you your key. You nodded your head, saying thank you.

'is it really a good idea to let the school bully inside your house, alone!?' you thought.

You unlocked your door, and threw your school bag on the couch hanging your coat up. Kid doing the same, "did we have any homework?" you asked him, he scratched his chin thinking "I don't think so, maybe" he then checked his bag as you went into the kitchen which wasn't very far from the living room. He then checked your bag to see if you had any homework, but he the stopped looking when he found a yaoi manga. He looked through it, then cringed when he found two dudes gettin' it on.

"Uh, Y/n?" he called, not taking his eyes from the book "Yeah?" you walked into the living room, and saw what was in Kid's hands. You blushed and ripped the book from his fingers, then ran fast into your room hiding it under your pillow.

You walked back out into the living room, he was slyly grinning at you "Not. A. Word." Kid put his hands up, "Won't say anything" You went back into the kitchen, asked Kid what he wanted to drink. "Sweet Tea?" he asked, you nodded, and poured two glasses, then joined him on the couch. "Want to watch a movie?" you asked, he shrugged, "sure"

It was late when Kid's phone rang, he woke from his sleep. You and him had snuggled on the couch, watching a really bad horror movie together when you guys had gotten your stomach's full and passed out. You woke up, and sat up rubbing the sleep from your eyes. Kid picked up his phone, "Hello?" It sounded like his dad, Kid had a frown on his face. He looked as if he wanted to cry by the time the phone call was over. "Kid" you whispered, he looked at you with a smile "It's nothing" he said, "it's just my dad, he wants me home" Kid stood up and was about to leave when you grabbed his wrist.

"Tell him your staying at Law's house, it is the weekend" You looked a the ground with a blush. He chuckled, and kissed your head, then your nose, both your cheeks then finally your lips. "It's fine, I'll come over tomorrow" He kissed your forehead again, then with his stuff he opened the door, "I had fun, we should do it again" you nodded, and gave him a smile "Bye Kid" he smiled at you, "Bye Y/n" He closed your door behind him.

And that's how you and the school bully got together.
