"Over there" Robyn pointed. The movers had came early in the morning to settle all of their belongings in. Aubrey was still asleep, he was stressed and tired. He needed a hell of a break, and Robyn completely understood where he was coming from, She definitely needed one too. Once the movers finished putting the living room in place, that was finally it. She was finally able to call this place home. She grinned, and prepared herself a cup of coffee, but then realized Aubrey was coming downstairs. " Damn! It looks great! " He said with a smiled plastered on his face.

"Yeah I'm impressed on how it turned out" Robyn handed Aubrey the coffee instead, knowing he needed it more.
"Thank you baby" He said still looking around amazed. She smiled softly, and went to go grab her phone off the counter. Her sister was continuously blowing up her phone, demanding to call her.
"Hello?" Rena voiced.
"Hey little sis. What's up?" Robyn made her way to the couch, while Aubrey went to roam around the condo.
"So Mom and Dad were thinking, we could all go out for dinner, since you moved into town." Rena spoke.
Robyn though about it for a moment, "Sure Why Not?" Robyn was very hesitant when it came to her over-bearing parents, they always had to start drama. They didn't have much together back then, but they have it big now and think it's okay to brag about it to people. "As long as my love is invited." Robyn added.
Rena stayed silent, but then sighed. "Fine whatever, As long as your coming. Meet us at Nobu at 8." Rena hung up, and Robyn shook her head. Her family was so rude to Aubrey when they first met him, and hated him ever since.
* Flashback * "Mom, Dad, Rena, This is Aubrey. He's my new boyfriend." Robyn said happily. "Nice to meet you!" Rena smiled, while they all sat at the dinner table. Her parents were silent for awhile. They just fiddled around with their food.
"What do you do? Aubrey?" Theresa, Robyn's mom asked.
"Uh, I own businesses. Real Estate, and Managing in such." Aubrey said proudly on the outcome of how is life came out.
"How'd you two... Uh meet?" Robert, Robyn's very protective father asked.
"We met in a bar.." Aubrey said.
Robyn's parents exchanged nervous looks with each other.
"Aubrey was upset about the death of his mother, and It looked like he needed good company, we then bonded ever since." Robyn chimed in saving Aubrey from the interrogation about his drinking he was probably about to get from her father.
"Oh your mother died? Sorry to hear" Her mom said.
Aubrey then looked down at his legs, wanting to cry about one of the most important women he's ever loved on this earth.
"So what's your history? Do you go to strip club? Stay out late? Drugs?" Robert asked bravely.
"Dad please don't start...." Robyn pleaded.
"Just trying to look out for my daughter."
"Uh no nothing like that. My last relationship was hard for me, and due to the death of my parents, Drinking soothes me" Aubrey said.
"Who did you date in your past relationship?" Rena said being nosy like always. Robyn gave her a look, and Aubrey answered, "Laila Anthony" Laila was well known throughout Toronto, because she was like some Instagram Sensation.
Rena's eyes opened wide, "Laila Anthony? The Laila Anthony? You mean LaLa Anthony?"
"Who?" Aubrey said confused.
"Lala! Aka Laila, Is a stripper now... Ew you dated a stripper!" Rena snorted.
"Rena don't talk about things like that at the table!" Theresa was disgusted to the news as well, but still wanted manners to remain at the table.
"Robyn you brought so much better guys home..." Rena spat to her sister.
"Shut up Rena. Leave him alone okay? He's been through a lot!" Robyn defended her man. "Besides Laila- Or Lala whatever the fuck her name is! Is not in the picture. I am. So leave it be." Robyn rolled her eyes and grabbed Aubrey's hand. He was humiliated. Well that was hell of a first impression * END OF FLASHBACK * Robyn sighed at the past thought, and made her way around the condo to find Aubrey.
"Hey baby" Aubrey felt Robyn's arms wrap around his waist.
"Hey Fring" He turned around and kissed her on the head.
"So I just got off the phone with Rena" Aubrey rolled his eyes. "And the whole family is grabbing dinner tonight. I want you to come along" Robyn already knew the answer he was gonna say.
"No baby. They don't like me. I hate it when I'm in a place where I don't feel comfortable." He said breaking out of Robyn's hold and sitting on the couch.
Robyn sighed, "Please. I want you to be there with me. And if they be mean to you I'll put them in check" Robyn pleaded for her husband to come.
