What is love
But the creeping sensation of sudden drowning
Flowers in the spring and the darkness of night
The heat of summer and the cold of winter
Harsh and unforgiving, enduring and everlasting
Bubbling joy mixed with all-encompassing fear
A newborn baby, yet an old friend
Stretching its arms under doors and through windows
Hiding, lurking in the shadows; it is everywhere
It grabs you and never lets go- but neither will you
Love is an incurable disease infecting you with eternal ecstasy
