Lost in love

Chapter !#

The family gathered the things they would need. Not knowing how welcome they would be. Arriving at the beach near their home, they prepared to leave. They said goodbye to Bruce, before walking out to an empty spot.

"You ready Kailey?" Loki asked the little girl who was now awake "We're going to go through the bifrost"

"Yay!" The four-year-old screamed in excitement as Thor yelled to Heimdall

Aimee held Luke close, and held Loki's arm as the colorful lights surrounded them. Kailey screamed in happiness, but in fear too. Loki gripped her tighter as they were sent through the bifrost. In almost an instant, they arrived. Loki's heart stopped as he looked at the rainbow bridge he had destroyed many years ago; It was now fixed up, with Heimdall standing in the middle.

"Your highness" Heimdall acknowledged Thor as he started walking

Loki was stuck in his place, regretting bringing those he loved back to the place he used to call home. Aimee noticed and took his hand in hers.

"No one will take us from you" She whispered into his ear "I love you so much. Remember that"

"I love you too" He told her before they followed Thor down the bridge

"Heimdall"

"Prince Loki"

"Does that mean I'm a prince?" Luke asked his father from next to his mother

"Uh..." He started, looking to Aimee

Loki was not born an Asgardian, and yet he was son to the king of a people who were most likely dead. He was going to reply when Thor beat him to it.

"Yes. You are a prince"

Loki smirked and kept walking. They arrived at the palace after a long walk and a short horse ride. The two lover's hearts were pounding out of their chests as they walked in.

"I will take you to your room" Thor told them, leading them down the hall to Loki's old room

"I remember where it is, thank you" he said walking past

Aimee stayed behind with Thor as they watched Loki take his children to the room.

"Give him time, it's hard enough to forgive you; let alone come back"

"Why do I have to be forgiven?" Thor asked slightly upset by her comment

"Because you were wanted by your family, you had a good life" She explained before walking after her family

They settled into the room. A crib and extra bed had been brought in for Kailey and Luke. Once settled, they decided to go get lunch.

"You ready?" Aimee asked as Loki opened the door for her

"Yeah" he mumbled before turning to his two kids "The library is where I had told you, and the garden is nearby. Keep Kailey with you"

"Ok, we'll be there soon" Luke said picking up his sister and carrying her off

He wanted to explore the place his parents told them about all his life. Kailey wanted to be with Luke, so it worked out.

"Loki" Thor said standing up noticing Loki

He was sitting at the table in the dining room. Loki was at the entrance, hiding Aimee's stomach behind him. Something he unknowingly did when nervous.

"Loki?!" The people gasped and stood up

"Please, sit down. I am here as a guest" Loki informed straight faced, trying not to seethe at them

Stepping forward, everyone was watching his beautiful pregnant wife behind him. Leading her over to the table, he pulled out her chair for her, before sitting down himself. He had placed her at the end of the table, next to Thor. Putting himself between her and everyone else in the room.

"Shall we eat?" He said taking some food to put on his plate

"Luke!" Kailey shrieked happily as they played in the garden

Luke laughed as his little sister ran from his loving arms to avoid being tickled.

"We have to go to lunch now" He told her chuckling as he slowed his pace

"Ok" She giggled following her brother

As they walked through the garden, Luke noticed a nearby girl picking weeds from the ground. Thinking about it for a second, he decided to talk to her. Fs he introduced himself, Kailey spotted a pretty bug fly off. Curiousness filled her, prompting her forward.

"And this is my little sister Kail..." Loke looked around for his sister "KAILEY?" He shouted when he couldn't see her

Loki and Aimee were eating, when a frantic Luke busted through the door. A young maid behind him.

"MOM! DAD!" He shouted getting their attention "I can't find Kailey"

"WHAT!" Aimee shrieked standing up abruptly

Loki and Aimee stormed out of the dining room, Thor and Luke on their heels; the young maid staying when called to work. Loki used his magic to search the Palace, trying to find their youngest.

"Have you found her?" Aimee asked, getting a head shake in reply

"This is all my fault" Luke blamed himself behind them

"It is not your fault, we will find her" Aimee comforted before Loki announced

"I found her!"

They ran off in the direction of their daughter.
