~~~Women's Day~ (n.) a holiday celebrated March 8th to so support for women struggles
Nami pov
Gently, I slipped my 'feminism is a dirty word' t-shirt over my perfectly curled hair.
Who says you can fight for rights and look cute?
Today was the day. The day the women and men of Mugiwara High were going to demand for the school to allow for girls to play with boys during PE, and to compare all sports records with girls and boys, instead of splitting. Because Robin was the fast swimmer and deserved to beat out Law, fair and square. If the day comes when Law is a faster swimmer then he can have #1 over all genders.
My smile only seemed to grow as my eyeliner sharpened. I knew exactly what, where, when, and how I was going to say what I had to say.
Not to mention I had acquired a secret weapon.
"Thanks for coming!" I smiled as my lawyer toke a seat next to me in the waiting room out side Prinipal Newgate's office.
"Well, you have a interesting case." He smiled professional, but I knew he had a naturally curious and youthful personality under his profession persona. "It's not everyday that a girl under 5'5" stands up against a strict private school."
"It is, Corazon, you just don't see it." I replied causing the other girls to giggle slightly. He was weird in a way he didn't like when people called him by his last name, but weird or not he was a friend now.
"Touché, young lady touché." He laughed slightly before looking around the waiting room for the first time since sitting beside me. Corazon's painted lips pulled up in a interested smirk as his eyes read all our graphic tees, from 'this p***y grabs back' to ''girls just wanna have funDIMENTAL RIGHTS!"
I know that his is just one small school, but all men are created equal and it's time to include women in the sequel!
"Despite getting burns on my hand, I'm glad you spilled that coffee on me." Corazon chuckled as he flipped througj papers.
Grumpily, I stabbed a push pin in the top of the flyer Vivi made. 'We are no longer in monarchy! Join the Mugiwara High 'Feminist Club' to end patriarchy.'
We had been up all night editing the poster perfectly. Call me obsessive, but we had one shot.
At 3 am it was completed. With the empowering slogan over 5 raised first of differnt size, shape, and skin tone.
However, my pride was over taken by my lack of sleep, and pinning up poster all over time by myself in 40 degree weather was no helping.
Praise god my vagina was bleeding right now.
"One venti latte with 2 shots expressio, soy milk, and extra whip cream forrr Women's Rights!"
