Chapter 16: Birthday Party Disaster

Ally's pov

Today is Erica's birthday and she's turning 14

When I woke up, I decided to make Erica breakfast in bed

First I had to go to the store because we don't have any eggs and I'm also going to make pancakes too

I brought Stacy with me to the store, I buckled her in and drove to the store

Once I set Stacy in the cart, I saw someone familiar

When I was walking closer to the person, it was Samantha and Mackenzie

I thought they were in jail, they saw me and was walking up to me

"Hello Ally" Samantha said

"Hi Samantha, hi Mackenzie" I said

"What are you doing here?" Mackenzie said

"I'm shopping for Erica's birthday tonight" I said

"She's your daughter right? How is she?" Mackenzie said

"Well she's fine, I have to go now, bye" I said walking away

"Bye Ally" They said

This is what was on the list
•Eggs
•Pancake mix
•Balloons
•Birthday cake mix
•Clothes
•Decorations
•Presents

After I was done shopping, I went to the register

"Hello, how's your day?" The cashier said

"It's ok, yours?" I said

"The worst" The cashier said

"Why, what happened?" I said

"Well, my girlfriend broke up with me" The cashier said

"I'm so sorry, what's your name?" I said

"My name is Jordan (Random person) what's your name?" Jordan said

"My name is Ally, we should hang out sometimes" I said

"Here" He said giving me his number

"Thanks, bye" I said leaving

Once I came home, Jacob was at the door

"Where were you?" Jacob said

"At the store" I said

"What did you buy?" Jacob said

"Quit asking and start helping" I said

"Ok, ok" Jacob said

"I can't believe our first daughter is turning 14" I said

And then I heard footsteps coming to the kitchen

"Hi mom" Erica said

"Happy birthday sweetie" I said hugging her

"Thanks mom, I can't believe I'm turning 14" Erica said

"I know, your growing so big" I said with tears falling my cheeks

"Awwww mom, don't cry" Erica said hugging me

There was a knock at the door, I opened it and it was Mark's family

"Happy Birthday Erica!!" They said

"Thank you" Erica said

ULoren decided to help me in the kitchen

"Hi Ally, where's Jacob?" Loren said

"He's in the backyard, cleaning the pool" I said

"Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Erica,
Happy Birthday to you" Everybody sang happy birthday to Erica and then Erica blew the candles

While Erica was opening her presents, there was a knock at the door

I opened it and Mackenzie and Samantha

"Happy birthday Erica" Samantha said giving her a present

Erica pushed it away, Jacob got the present and threw it outside

When Jacob threw the present, there was a bomb in the present

"AHHHHH" Everybody said

"Samantha, what kind of present is that?" I said looking at Samantha

"THIS IS THE WORST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER" Erica said crying

"Samantha, Mackenzie GO AWAY" I said closing the door shut

My mom was walking up to me and said

"It's ok sweetie, tell Erica to look at the pool in the back" My mom said

Everybody went to the backyard and were surprised

"OMG, Is this for me?" Erica said looking at my mom

"Happy birthday Erica" My mom said

"Thank you grandma, I love you so much" Erica said hugging my mom

"LETS GO SWIMMING!!" I said

The pool was big enough for everybody

"This turned out to be the best birthday ever, thank you mom" Erica said

"Your wel....." I was interrupted by someone screaming

"What happened?" I said getting worried

"I think Stacy is dead" The person said

"WHAT, Jacob we need to bring her to the hospital" I said

~

Me and Jacob are at the hospital and now we were waiting for the doctor

"Mr & Mrs Sartorius?" The doctor said

"That's us" Jacob said

"Stacy is..." Before the doctor could finish his sentence, my mom called

"I'm sorry, I gotta take this" I said walking away

Ally: Hello

Mom: How's Stacy, Erica is crying

Ally: The doctor was going to tell us but can I talk to Erica for a minute

Mom: Sure *Hands Erica the phone*

Ally: Erica?

Erica: Hi mom

Ally: Don't cry, Stacy will be alright

Erica: Can I visit her?

Ally: Sure

Erica: Thanks mom *Hands the phone back to my mom*

Ally: Mom?

Mom: Yes sweetie?

Ally: Can you come visit here tomorrow?

Mom: Ok, bye love you

Ally: Bye mom, love you too

I ended the call and went back where Jacob and the doctor was

"I'm sorry, that was my mom" I said

"It's ok, as I was saying, Stacy is....
