"Is it just me or do you hear yelling?" I asked.
"I hear it too," Marie and Elisa said.
"Best friends," we heard Patrick say. "Ex friends till the end, Pete."
"Jesus, I'll be right back," I said as I got up and ran up the stairs.

Once I got to the top of the stairs, everything was silent, which kind of scared me actually. Normally when someone has a blow out with Pete, they'll say something that actually really hurts him, then he'll take a minutes or two and then blow up at them. It's pretty bad actually.
Anyway, I walked towards the room where Pete and Patrick were, then I slowly pushed the door open.

"Fuck you Patrick! You're a fucking lowlife asshole! I can't believe I was ever in a fucking band with you! Everything has to be your fucking way! Fuck you!" Pete shouted as I opened the door.
"Hey!" I shouted.
"Jesus!" Patrick shouted as he jumped.
"What the fuck do you want?" Pete asked.
"What I want is for you two to stop fucking shouting at each other!" I said. "What the hell happened to you guys?!"
"Pete is was fucking happened," Patrick said.
"Fuck y-" Pete said before I cut him off.
"You guys are fucking best friends! Practically brothers, for Christ's sake! This isn't like you!" I yelled. "I can't believe you two are deciding to have a screaming match when someone you love is missing! You guys really fucking think this is the time to scream at one another? Let alone any time?!"
"I-I, uhh, well," Patrick said. "You make a good point. Meagan is missing and Pete and I decide to fight instead of solve the problem."
"Exactly," I said.
"I just don't know what came over me," he said. "I guess what Pete said just got to me. After all, I was just trying to help."
"Any input Pete?" I asked.
"I guess I just wasn't thinking," Pete said. "I tend to do that a lot... And say things I don't mean."
"Some things you've said to me have really hurt me, Pete," Patrick said.
"I know. I can see it in your face and I'm really sorry," Pete said. "You know I don't hate you and you're not stupid. I guess I just didn't want to think of anything else besides Meagan missing."
"That's understandable, but just know that I always mean good. I just wanted to help," Patrick said.
"There. Doesn't this feel better than screaming in each others faces?" I asked.
"Yeah," Patrick and Pete said as they both chuckled.
"Can you two make up?" I asked; Jesus, this sounds like an intervention for a five year old.
"Why the hell not?" Patrick asked.
"I'm sorry Patrick," Pete said as he engulfed Patrick in a hug.

That's another thing about Pete; if you have him and whoever he's fighting with make up, he seems like the sweetest guy ever. You can see it in his eyes that he really is sorry and you can see his eyes pleading for you to forgive him, which you can't help but do.

"It's alright, Pete," Patrick said as he chuckled and hugged Pete back.
"Now, can we focus on finding Meagan now?" I asked.
