Chapter 31

Y/n's Pov:

They practiced about three songs then their rehearsals were done

I kept staring at Adam and this dude was not looking so good

When everyone started packing up their things and getting ready to leave I took the chance to approach the young guy

"Hey man" i said

"Sup" he said

"Look I know it's none of my business but you're my friend now and I don't like it when my friends are sad. Are you alright? You can talk to me buddy" I said

He sighed and contemplated if he should talk to me but I think he gave in once he let out a sigh and led me out of the room into the hallway

"I got played" he said and let out a sigh

"W-what?" I asked him shocked

He pursed his lips together and looked up as if he tried to stop tears from coming out

He cleared his throat and let out a shaky breath

"She cheated on me. My girl cheated on me. The love of my life man" he said

I felt my heartbreak. And not only that but I felt Deja vu. He already reminded me of myself but to be cheated on is just the cherry on top. I felt like a kid again when I found out my ex has cheated on me

"Adam I'm, I'm so sorry" I said putting my arm around his shoulder

He let a few tears escape then sniffled

"She was with him for three months and she got pregnant by him" he said

Aw fuck

"I found the pregnancy test in the bathroom and at first she tried to pass it off as mine and I got happy. I took it too far and started imagining our life with a kid and she couldn't handle the guilt anymore and came clean" he said

Okay that's worse than what happened to me

"I'm sorry Adam. I know how you feel cause It's happened to me as well. I know it hurts but you'll get through this buddy I promise you" I said

He was about to speak up but Camila appeared

"Hey babe ready to go-" she said but stopped talking once she saw the situation

"Adam are you okay?" She asked worriedly putting her hand on his shoulder

"I'm good. Excuse me but I have to go. Thanks for the talk y/n" he said then rushed out the building

I had a look of sadness on my face. I felt sorry for the poor guy

"Baby what's wrong with him?" Camila asked me

"His girl cheated on him" I said and she gasped

"Not only that. She got pregnant by the dude too"

"Oh fuck" she said

"I know" I breathed out

"I feel so bad for him. He's such a good guy" she said

I was zoned out just thinking and Camila noticed

"What's wrong?" She asked placing her hand on my face

"Nothing it's just. I kinda got like Deja vu. Like suddenly I remembered when Natalie had cheated on me. It sucked you know. Like I don't think there's anything worse than that feeling" I said

She cupped my face

"That's your past now Baby. I promise you you'll never feel that ever again" she said

I nodded my head "I know. It's just like those scars you can never get rid of ya know?"

"My poor baby you've been through a lot" she said and kissed my forehead

"No more pain okay. You'll never go through that experience again" she said

I smiled

"I know" I said then kissed her lips

"Dinner?" I asked her and she nodded her head and smiled
"I'm starving" she said

"Me too" I said

And with that I grabbed her hand and we walked out of the building hand in hand then Camila started skipping all the way to the car making me laugh and my heart flutter

Before anything else I'd like to say thank you for continuing to read this story. I personally think it sucks but if you think it's cool that's lit fam

Also I'm not a fucking super smart person so obviously there's going to be mistakes in this story such as grammar, situations that could probably not happen in real life etc, or I probably just don't care since this is all shit from my imagination and a story. I mean it is a fan fiction so not everything is to be taken literally. Some of y'all be commenting on my stories and it's like chill lol
