Checking Out My Boss!?

Next Morning Naira wakes up.

Naira's POV
Oh what a lovely morning it is. I pick my phone to check my Instagram. I am going through my feed when a reminder pops up saying 'First Day at office. Report at 9:30'.
Oh God how could I forget this. I looked at the time. It was 9:00. Oh no! I ran to the washroom. Got ready in 15 minutes. Went down greeted everyone and left for the office. I am sure to be late today. I reached office at 9:45. I knew I was late. I quickly ran in and  went straight to my boss's cabin. I knock and went in.

Manish: Good Morning Miss.Naira
N: Good Morning Sir. Sorry I am late.
M: Its fine I understand. First day at office it always happens and I don't mind until u don't make this mistake repeatedly.
N: Sure Sir. Thank u
M: Ok so Naira she is Keerti and she will help u around today.
N: Ok Sir thank u

I smiled at Keerti ma'am. She told me to come with her.

K: So Naira I was going through ur profile. Very interesting. I saw u studied at St.Mary's high school. Remember me? Keerti Goenka, head girl.
N: Oh yes yes. As far as I remember u were 2 years senior to me.
K: Yes
N: I always looked up to u and see today I have got an opportunity to work with u.
K: Oh come on. And yes Plz no formalities. U can call me Keerti Di.
N: Oh thank u so much Di.
K: Ok come lets get u introduced to Kartik

We knocked the door and entered.

Keerthi: Kartik, look who is here. Naira Singhania the new MD.
Kartik: Hello Miss.Naira

I was lost in my own world looking at him. He was so hot. I was checking out my boss! God what is happening to me. My thoughts were interrupted by Keerti Di

Ke: Naira???
N: Yes Di, Sorry I was just thinking about our school days.
K: School days? And Di? What is going on? U both know each other?
Ke: Yes Kartik we were in the same school. She was my junior.
K: Oh ok gr8
Ke: Anyways Plz excuse me I have a meeting to attend.
N: Bye Di. Will catch up later
Ke: Ya Sure, bye
K: So Miss. Naira, I am Kartik Goenka, CEO of Goenka Empires. We will be working together.
N: Yes Sir, and yes Plz call me only Naira
K: Ok Naira and yes Plz don't be so formal. Call me Kartik.
N: Ok Sir.... I am sorry Kartik

We discussed a few topics and we went for a meeting with Mr.Aditya.
I was presenting our work and I could see Mr.Aditya continuosly staring at me. It made me a bit uncomfortable and I thought about talking to Kartik. During the break i told him about it and he said he will look into this. We finished the meeting. I was in my cabin when Mr.Aditya walked in. I told him to sit and we discussed a few agendas. He then slowly stood up while I was talking and he came to my chair and started carassing my hair. I told him to stay away but he started touching me. I started moving backwards and was about to trip over when a strong pair of arms held me. It was Kartik. He made me stand a started beating Aditya black and blue. He threw Aditya on the glass wall and the glass was smashed. Everyone gathered around. Sir came running out of his cabin. He came and asked Kartik why he was beating Aditya. Kartik told him everything. I didn't know how he would react. I thought he would be angry at me because Mr.Aditya was a close business associate. But Sir slapped Aditya. He said he was ashamed to be associated with such a person. Mr.Aditya was thrown out of the office. I was crying. Kartik came to me and I don't know why I just hugged him. He also hugged me back and consoled me. Sir took me to his cabin and apologised a hundred times atleast. He even gave me a bouquet and a sorry card. I was so lucky to have such supporting colleagues.
I went back to my cabin. I was working when Kartik came in.

K: I am really sorry for what happened Naira. It shouldn't have happened and I will make sure to ruin his company. How could he do this to any girl and especially u Naira.

He said especially me. Wow he really cares for me. Maybe it is just as a friend or something more I don't know. But why am I thinking of this. I stood up and hugged him. He hugged me back.

N: Kartik its okay I am fine. Thank u so much for supporting me. If u weren't there I don't know what would have happened.
K: It was my duty Naira. Don't need to say Thank u.

We broke the hug. I just wanted to stay there but we were in office. He sat with me for sometime while we talked about our lives. We became good friends.
