Priceless and yet Cheap

Priceless and yet Cheap,
Are those we call years,
And so are those moments,
When we shed many tears.

Not because someone was maimed,
Not because someone was blamed,
Not because someone was christened ,
Not because somebody listened.

And yet we still shed these tears,
And we still call these moments years.
For some reason we can't recall,
Maybe for no reason at all.

Maybe because they simply are,
Just like those beautiful stars.
So distant, and yet so near,
Just like our greatest fears.

These things confuse us,
So vexed, we can't speak.
I guess that's why their called,
Priceless and yet Cheap.
