'Thump.' I had been dropped like ten times, serious shit! I was annoyed! 

"How am I going to learn if you give me no time to strike! You literally just jump me every time!" Klaudious arches an eyebrow.

"If someone chooses to attack you they aren't going to wait for Princess Alexandra to make the first move! We are wolves Alexandra, when we fight we are looking out for ourselves and someone usually doesn't make it out alive." as he was giving this whole dramatic speech I couldn't help but think he was right, once again. 

"I'm here to teach you how to fight because honestly, you suck. Now get up and let’s try this again." He growled, sweat covering his shirtless well sculpted body, this wasn’t fair! He was distracting! Maybe I should take of my shirt! But either way…

I stood up and crouched, I watched his movements as I'm sure he was doing to mine and then...I saw a spider! I tried to ignore it but I couldn't, I looked down and killed it.

Already I could imagine what Klaudious would have said. 'Wrong move Princess.' 

I was tackled to the floor. I grunted and pouted.

"Is this a joke to you?" Klaudious said very pissed off and made no move to get up. "You have a couple of weeks left and you're not prepared!" Yes, his shirtless body was now on top of me.

“Alexandra, are you listening to me.” He groaned but didn’t seem as annoyed anymore. I looked up at him.   

"Well maybe we should start by you teaching me how to DODGE AN ATTACK!" I said while squirming out from underneath him. "Get off!" I shoved, pushed, pinched! Nothing worked. "Klaudious." I whined.

"Fine, I'll show you different attempts." he stood up pulling me up with him. He was so strong.

 ---

After him attacking me several more times I finally started to get the hang of it, I had even managed to bring him down once! Huge achievement for me! 

"Okay kids, diners ready." Luan barged in, and an aroma of food hit my sense of smell. 

I ran to Luan. 

"What's for dinner? I'm starving!" he laughed while placing a hand over my shoulder. I heard Klaudious growl and Luan removed his hand.

"Well okay...let's get you both cleaned up and then you can see what we've served up. Now off you go." I rushed out, Klaudious following behind. I went up to my room only to notice he was following me.

"What are you doing?" he looked at me confused.

"Heading to my room. Obviously." I placed my hands akimbo. 

"You know, for an alpha you give off a lot of attitude. Kind of like a little bitc-"

"Don't." he snarled.

I stormed out of his sight and left. Ugh, there was something about him that heated me up; I'm more ways than one. Stupid Klaudious. 

I showered and didn't bother dressing up, I was too tired. Klaudious worked me out a lot more than Austin or Susan. We didn't have a specific routine like I did with them but his training was much more hardcore. After all, I was tackled by him, a heavy built man like twenty times! And he didn't go easy on me either. 

I put on some pajama shorts and a tank top along with my slippers and headed downstairs. 

Luan was chatting with Jay, the top maid when I walked in.

"Wow, you really outdid yourself, you look fabulous." he said mockingly but I went along with it. I did a full turn.

"I hope it isn't too much." we all laughed as we headed to the table. 

The table was long, big and not needed; we took our seats and waited for the king. Ha! King. As if.

"Why are we eating here?" I asked.

"Because this is the dinner table." I looked up to see Klaudious walking in, I looked him over, he was wearing some track pants and a wife beater.  

"Oh, I hadn't noticed. Thank you for pointing that out." I said sarcastically. "I meant, why not some place where the table isn't so big and puts like two miles between us. I swear, I have to scream so you could possibly hear what I'm saying. You're so far away…but maybe that's a good thing." I said looking at Klaudious. I didn't exactly want to sit so close to him., not when he made my body act all hormonal.

"We can't always get what we want Princess." 

"Who's asking for something? It was just a question, well more like a thought." I said exaggerating in sweetness.

"Well, if where done fighting. We shall bring out the food." I was still glaring at Klaudious and he was returning the favor. "Hello? Stop making lovey-dovey eyes and listen to me." said Luan, Klaudious smirked as I looked away. 

"Okay, and dinner is served." Luan Announced .

Diner was awkward, that's all I could gather from it. Luan would try to make a joke or something but Alpha Klaudious wasn't having any of it. I finished up quickly and excused myself. 

Klaudious POV 

Alexandra finished up and excused herself, I knew she was mad and maybe a bit uncomfortable.

"Is this some kind of attempt at getting the girl?" Luan asked confused. I glared at him.

"No-" 

"Because I hope you know you're just pushing her away." I growled, obviously I didn't want to do this but I had to. 

"She needs to be at a safe distance." 

"I think the safest place she can be is by her mate, don't you?" 

"Luan, I must train her before getting involved with her." I finished up and headed out side leaving Luan to himself. 

On my way out I bumped into Alexandra making her lose her balance, she was on the verge of falling but I managed to grab her by the waist. I turned her around and just looked at her. She was honestly beautiful and I would do anything for her. Ironic how before this I had just been planning to screw over her father’s pack and kidnapping her. I was a really one fucked person.

 I let go of her and walked away, leaving her standing there perplexed, her mouth slightly open.
