He's back. Or is he? I believe this song is about how unrequited the love between them really was. She is "playing video games" for him and only him. Everything she did is for him. This is a flashback, or realization of how one sided the love for him was. She loves him, but the candle doesn't burn at both ends for her. Also, as the drums progress and the song comes to an end, it sounds like she's remembering how painful something is.
