I opened my eyes, and was greeted by the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The sky was blue, and only carried a few wisps of clouds. The sun shone down onto my face, and I relished in it's light. Grass tickled at my neck and cheeks, so I sat up and drank in my surroundings.

Only about a foot away from me was another person, dressed in white and laying back. Lilacs bent down in a sweet breeze and kissed them awake. When the person sat up, I knew exactly who it was.

For so long, I was alone. It was dark. I was losing time that I could have used to see the world. But now, now that I can see everything I had missed, all I cared about was all of the time I wanted to lose in her eyes.

Genevieve.

Genevieve.

I see you.
