*Billy’s P.O.V*
I just wish Georgia would give me a chance to explain, I wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.
I stay sitting in the car, watching each vehicle leave the parking lot. I knew there was no point running after her, it was only going to make things worse; if that was even possible. I sit in the car just looking at the empty car spaces and surprise, surprise there was only one other car left….. Harrison’s!!
I get out of my car and walk over to Harrison’s, only to find him crying his eyes out; his mum sitting in the passenger seat crying into his shoulder.
As much as I hated Harrison right now his mum was like family to me, I knock on the window and they both look up, a mixture of worry and sadness filling their faces. Harrison pushes open the door, bashing it straight into my side.
“What the hell was that for?” I say griping my side.
“This isn’t your business and I’d appreciate it if you just left” Says Harrison, tears still filling his eyes.
“ It is my business, Belinda is like a family to me and whatever you’ve done to upset her…’’ I was cut off by Harrison.
“She had a miscarriage, okay? So can you just drop it?” He said, shouting in my face.
“I-I-I’m so sorry I had no idea…”
“Just leave Billy, Don’t tell Georgia, Don’t tell your mum just don’t tell anyone” He says, anger building in his voice.
“Well it’s not like Georgia’s talking to me at the moment thanks to you, so what’s wrong with one more secret” I say sarcastically
“Look I know you hate me at the moment, but I don’t expect you to do it for me, do it for Belinda” He says getting back into the car and with that I just walk away, not for Harrison; but for Belinda!!
By the time I drove myself home it was about 8pm and I saw mum out on the front step waiting for me.
“Where have you been Billy? I’ve been worried sick about you! School finished 5 hours ago” she says, crossing her arms.
“I just needed some alone time to clear my head and stuff” I say, avoiding eye contact
“Well a call would have been nice, for all I knew you could have been kidnapped or something!“ She says picking up her bag and walking inside.
“Oh and next time you decide to ditch maths to take a girl out, I suggest you at least call in ‘sick’ “she says with a wink
“Well you don’t need to worry about me ditching with that girl again, I blew my chance” I say, pushing past her.
“Dinners in the…” she didn’t get time to finish her sentence because I cut her off.
“I’m not hungry” I say running up to my room, right now I just need to sleep.
*Buzz, Buzz, Buzz,*
I lean over and press the snooze button on my alarm clock and just lay in bed looking at the ceiling.
I have a bad feeling about today, I don’t feel like going to school but I know I’m going to have to face Georgia eventually so why wait, right?
I stumble out of bed and head over to my closet, throwing on a buttoned down shirt and pair jeans. As I head down stairs I can hear the toaster popping and feet rushing around.
“What are you doing mum?” I ask as I walk through the kitchen.
“Just thought I’d make you breakfast for once and surprise you when you woke up’’ she says with a grin.
“ This wouldn’t have anything to do with what happened last night would it mum?”
“What do you mean? Can’t a mum celebrate her son having his first little date?” she says with a sigh
“It wasn’t a date mum and I’ve been on dates before thank you very much!’ I say, a little offended by her ‘first date’ remark.
“What? With who? Why didn’t you tell me?” she asks, looking kind of… surprised.
“Bye mum, I got to get to school; or ditch for all my girls, whichever comes first” I say the cheesiest grin on my face.
“What about breakfast?” she asks, still kind of stunned.
I pull the piece of toast from the toaster, grab my school bad and head out the front door; there’s no way she can catch me now.
*Georgia’s P.O.V*
after last night’s movie marathon with Josh I have no idea how I managed to get out of bed this morning. Well I kind of do but let’s not go there right now, I need to get my head in the game; after all you have to be in it to win it right?
I grab my books from my locker and head to Physiology to meet Josh. Damn this plan is brilliant I think to myself, I wish Josh had thought of it a little earlier.
Not only will this get back at Billy but it will affect Emily and most importantly Harrison.
I take my seat in Physiology next to where Josh is sitting.
“You ready for this Georgia, just remember ‘Forgive’ Bryce and the plans a go” says Josh with a wink
“Yep, I just go up and say hey and pretend yesterday never happened?” I say with a grin.
“ No, No, No , you have to make it believable Georgia. Get his side of the story , do some hormonal girl fit or whatever, then say you forgive him” Says Josh.
“Hormonal girl fit? Really?” I say with a laugh
“ Well that’s what you chicks do don’t ya, have a hiss fit and get over it?” He says, laughing even harder.
Something told me today was going to be pretty eventful!
