You Replaced Me

The trees were dry, and the leaves were falling down.
It was months ago sinced we've met,
We made fun of ourselves that we couldn't forget.
We placed our trust side by side,
And we danced together all day and night.

We spend our afternoons together,
As if the time will stay still forever​.
Day by day, our friendship growed,
Night by Night, we became close.
From our walks, and to our talks,
Our friendship bloomed.

One day, you met this girl.
She's fun and happy to be with.
You danced away as you met her.
And one time, i saw you with her.
I raised my right hand for a wave.
Then you didn't see me,
As if i was a just a ghost who's lost in your memory now.

I realized how people tear,
because they were letting out fear.
I know the time will come when our friendship will be gone is near,
But please, i just want you to stay near, dear.

Months have passed,
I was smiling and joking around,
and realized that i was just talking to myself.
You left me, facing down the ground.
I thought you'll choose me from anyone, but why her?

I know what are you going to say,
But please don't ruin my lovely day.
I kept seeing you two along the way,
You two were playing beneath the ray.
You told me that you'll always stay,
But for you I will always pray.

You replaced me.
